Yeah this method is great I really should start using it again. You can apply this to the preacher curl as well. Pick a weight your comfortable with and have the spotter bring the bar up like in the video. Except have the spotter push down on the bar on the descend while you try to resist till failure. Each rep is a grind but Ive never had a better bicep pump. Fuck I wanna train arms now.
+the_MASK this maybe a NEW version of what forced reps are but that's not the standard way. I'm not saying it's bad. It's more like negatives with the exception that it's not a max weight or heavier. Typical forced reps are when a person goes to failure on their own and a partner helps them through 2-3 more reps without breaking form and getting the good negative. This version the partner is helping complete almost all the positive portion from the beginning and getting negatives all the way through.

should you then still do the first 5 which you should be able to do alone, actually do on your own and then get help from the spotter? or right from the start

Nope I do incline barbells curl and straight up on heavy easy :). The only ones I get a lil iffy about are bench presses. Where you could get crushed xD my gym is really empty most of the time can't find a spotter so I don't even bother asking :/
