How exceedingly rare it had been.
A public servant earning his respect from AB !
A rare gem among being the furthest thing from the royal crown jewels.....but neither one of them don't have to be.
Real heroes - everyday heroes already know that real honorable soldiers don't need metals.
      I didn't know that beyond their facility,is private,not public.
But if the gate is for cars,(vehicles only),and not for pedestrians, then if it's accessable, then according to AB, it's public?
From an Americans' point of view,if I were to access it on foot, and had a bike,I could simply go on through.
If I had a vehicle, however, then, yes,I have to stop by the gate, oress some button, and ask for access?
Even though there were people going to and forth - on foot - all the time.
That's the only part that's ridiculous.
      Probably a grey area.
Like being inside a retail store,a McDonald's,a fish and chips place,and/or inside a restaurant.
Way to go AB! And kudos to that educated police officer accompanying AB, giving him that much-needed lift back on board.

That must have been 25yr ago now. That was when the police became harder towards the public imo, after 9/11, 7/7. Back in the day police still had somewhat of a good relationship with the people they knew/had dealings with. It was weird when cops i knew and could talk to, overnight became like drugged/brainwashed is the only way i can describe it. Seemingly liking/having some respect for you one day, to just suddenly not talking to you, acting like you're a complete stranger. Like overnight i had just become scum not worth even looking at or looking straight through you. One bloke i specifically remember, just had a look in his eye's like there was nothing there.
