    For a finishing touch, you should get one of those Biodynamic water bottles that came out that year (Aero). I actually believed that it might save me a second in a 40K TT. I see that Campy was still using 7 speed freewheels in 1988. 8 speed cassettes came out in 1991. I believe that I remember that some time between 1989 and 1990, Campy came out with 7 speed cassette type rear hubs.
    I just remembered that in 1988, you could get Campy sintered brake blocks, for racing in the rain. They would work well at slowing you down, but must have chewed up rims, in a few hundred miles.

    Great bike. Bianchi in my Heart.
    Better routing cables in differenti way. Front brake housing behind the handle bar at the right of the stem. Rear brake housing at the left of the stem above the handle bar (not below) and to the left of the seatpost. Cables can move more straighter. The rear derailleur housing should be a little longer to prevent crackings and dents. Very fine Indeed whatever.

    REBUILD THAT REAR DERAILLEUR! it is not functional like this, the inside spring must be placed under tension, i think you didn't do that, that is why the lower cage is not putting the right tension on the chain. those brakelevers can also be build up aero as in internal cabling under bar tape. rear brake cable leftside seatpost. for the rest i must say well done, nice restore.

    Great build, elegant bike. Have to admit though, that internally routed brake cables and frames free of cable guides look much better.

      Vielen Dank, ja ihre Variante würde das bike cleaner aussehen lassen. Aber gerade weil es so unaufgeräumt aussieht, finde ich es cool. Schöne Grüße

    Sehr gute Arbeit!
    Ein paar Feinheiten gibt es vielleicht zukünftig zu korrigieren..zB sind die Hüllen teilweise zu lang bei den Bremsen, aber insgesamt sehr wertig.
    Du hattest ja die Roststellen des Rahmens entfernt - sollen die denn lackiert werden?

    • @restorwerke
      @restorwerke  Рік тому +1

      Vielen Dank. Und danke für den Tipp.
      Die Stellen habe ich mit Owatrolöl behandelt und mit hartwachs versiegelt. Ich habe leider keine passende Farbe gefunden. Alles was mir angemischt wurde, hat nicht gepasst. Schöne Grüße
