Nice craftsmanship. I had a bike almost exactly like this one. So funny how tired video popped up on my feed. I remember all those same Campagnola components. The tiny cassette. The push button thumb shifters. The frame has the same beautiful Colnago playing card logo lugs. It was actually great a great fitting smooth riding bike. I finally sold it once it started rusting. That’s the only problem with steel especially in wet humid climates
Did you clearcoat the frame? In any way, a great job. Glad I have a master that already looked like new when I bought it; I couldn’t do what you just did!

No, a sonic cleaner cleans dirt, not corrosion or rust. Technically, it vibrates in a certain frequency, about 35 kHz. Then the ultrasonic waves of the cleaning liquid cause the dirt to release from the surface.

Did you remove the seat post? I've just won an epic battle to extract an alloy post from a steel Kona frame, so solid that it began to distort the heavy steel removal jack at the bike mechanic's place. I ended up sawing a slot in it internally then working it out with a huge wrench. Nice job though, possibly a bit fancy for my tastes.

The color: it’s sort of a silvery-white, or a whitish-silver. Stunning. The entire bike is stunning. ❤️
It's a pearl white, a lot of older bikes used to come in pearl white or pearl grey in the 70s and early 80s.
That is one smooth looking machine. Best frame painter on UA-cam.

The paint is wonderful but was there a clear coat? Also I wonder if a bit more scrubbing and some polish on the parts may have produced better results
