Hank running for his life from the car...and nobody thinks to chase or to shoot at him even though he's clearly right there and they're trying to kill him. LOL
This shit is hilarious 1. The rocket is slightly being tiled to the left if you pause it 2. They consider putting the racket in the trunk 3. Fiches calling hank immediately knowing it was him 😂😂😂😂
I love how a few scenes before Fuches tells his girlfriend and her daughter next time they'll be taken out to dinner next time some type of attack happens and this scene starts with them being put in a car.
Funny that Fuches literally says a line from Michael Desanta in this scene, as he's dressed almost identically to him, and also in a big fancy house in the hollywood hills. Wonder if this was intentional or not.
Earlier in the episode theirs a guy thats says he could predict a sneak attack and get the woman outta there before sht went down lol you can see them escorting the ladies out of there 😂
The greatest trick a show can pull is making you genuinely worried for a protagonist. Even though logically they're well liked and the show revolves around them, and their story arc isn't done so they couldn't really actually die yet. Barry perfected those "ohh shit this is bad" moments, where you think a character's well and truly fucked and then somehow things get even worse.
I was waiting for some line from Fuches or his goons about intentionally not killing Hank. There are 3 guys with machine guns firing at him from 10 feet away and he doesn’t get a scratch.
Hank is a comedic character and is absurdist. I would have been mad at like Gene or Sally for surviving if they were in his place in this scene, but it totally fits the bill for Hank imo, surviving something like this just makes it even funnier
I love this scene because how it fails to work. Hank is a comic relief character who pretends to be someone his not. His a psychopath for sure, but he’s not really meant to be the head of the criminal underworld. When Fuches comes back, embracing his nature as the “ raven“, he makes quick work of Hanks man and completely embarrass Hank and his entire operation. The goofy and silly nature of Hank from seasons 1-3, no longer mean anything to someone like Fuches, who’s actually competent and skillful at organizing his operation to being a deadly force to be reckon with. This is what ultimately causes Hank to become desperate as he finally encounters someone who finally embraces their nature instead of hiding behind a façade.
Or at least ran in the opposite direction, putting the car between him and the shooters. He ran almost right by them and it was almost like they didn't see him.
