Correct. The greatest singer of ALL genres. The best voice of all time!! I saw him perform live in Toronto in '97 during the Accident of Birth Tour. Then I had a beer with Bruce and Adrian after what was the best concert I've ever attended. Bruce was on fire. His new album sounds incredible too. This guy still has it.
I recommend anyone who hasn't listened yet to check out his last concert with Samson before joining Iron Maiden, it was released as a live album with great quality available on all streaming platforms. Overall an unbelievable vocal performance
Its a Legend the best frontman togheter to Ian Gillan of Deep Purple of Hard Rock Music its a Man Very Amazing and A professionist wonderful musician Long Life to Mr Bruce Dickinson long Life to Rock Roll and Up the Iron Maiden for all Life 🖐️😀💪🎤🎸🎻📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀📀
Thanks Bruce for mark whole generations with your voice. For me and for million of people you can sit with Dio at the top of the greatest metal singers of all time ❤😢 sadly the time is taking u, a man who does not deserve get old.
The Talisman performance is something else. I think he just hit all the right pockets that night in some weird way. I doubt he did this every night. But it's pure magic.
The Talisman is one of my fave maiden songs and was awesome when i saw them live in cardiff on the final frontier tour, i would have run to hills from beast over hammersmith in this list though. He's never sung it like that since
I'd opt for equal, as a whole, with the vocal part being slightly more impressive in Stuttgart, and vice versa for the rest of the band. I recon the comparison is unfair. The one is a bootleg, the other is a pro recording@@TheGreatestVoice1958
It is from the parts of the beast on the road tour that he sounded the best and their is not one recordings from that era except that show at Stuttgart and Hallowed is so good and better their and because of that the song becomes like Holy sh*t this is so good and i can listed to the whole song easier because of how good it is
Bruce's live version of The Talisman is remarkable, I saw Iron Maiden in San Antonio during their Final Frontier Tour. He nailed it cold, no studio to correct any flaws, just him and the Boys live. 😮 My God!
Totally agree. Not one of Maiden's greatest songs but Bruce does nail it particularly with some difficult phrasing of the lyrics. I would have nominated Bruce's performance of ' The Chemical Wedding ' on the live Scream for Me Brazil album
@@michaeldean7220 The Talisman is one of the hardest songs to sing ever. I honestly felt like Bruce was struggling in the studio version but completely knocked it out of the park in the live version.
Personally think prime Geoff Tate (82-87 not counting mindcrime cuz thats when his voice started to slip due to chainsmoking) could do talisman better than Dickinson but we unfortunately will never be able to find out
You think so? I thought Tate’s voice on Operation Mindcrime was incredible. As for him singing Talisman better, it’s difficult to say. He obviously has the range, but does he have the power and stamina? Bruce for sure has always had a more powerful voice than Tate even in his prime, and Bruce’s stamina is 2nd to none.
@@TheGreatestVoice1958 his voice was still great on mindcrime but you can definitely tell his voice has changed mostly in power compared to RFO. Idk about bruce having more power in his voice at all, especially if we consider what we have seen from Warning Tour in Tokyo. As for stamina you might have a point there, I just think Tates more clean and powerful range can do more than what bruce does here. Not saying bruce’s talisman isn’t good, it’s obviously great 🙂
@@Zazu619 Bruce’s voice is DEFINITELY more powerful than Geoff Tate’s. Just listen to them isolated side by side and it’s very obvious Bruce has a bigger voice. That doesn’t necessarily make him a better singer, but it’s one thing he has on Tate.
The Talisman is one hell of a live song, but I think The Red and the Black is an even tougher endurance test: ua-cam.com/video/7F3eRabNAzI/v-deo.htmlsi=UKK4_sXzcXQvm7Tu
Dickinson, Dio e Halford! Os três magos do metal!
That´s right my friend!
The Talisman is almost untouchable for most singers. It needs so much support, breath control and STAMINA to make it through this song…
I am a lyric singer and a few days ago i try to sing the talisman, my god, even harder than it looks, its around 13 high D's, untouchable for me
The Talisman is hands down his best vocals. POWERFUL as heck at 53 years old
Re-recorded vocals for "live" DVD are awesome
The greatest singer ever!! Unbeatable.
him, Halford and Freddie imo
@@lukanovak1492also throw in James labrie before he sucked and you have a solid list

Usually this kind of videos had no sense, just 5 live takes. But this are 5 really good selected performances. Well done!
Thank you so much!!
The Absolutely Best!!!!!
Bruce Dickinson is one of the BEST vocalists of all time. No one can compare to him. EVER! LOVE Bruce 🎶🎵 💜💜
HEEEEELLL YEEEAAHH 1000% AGREED
I've never seen that Icarus performance, so good!

The fact that the number 1 spot is the most recent performance is pretty amazing.

Great choices here!

Crazy that they tuned up Hallowed be thy name by a half step. As if it wasn't crazy enough already :o

That could easily be the list of 50, and equally great ones
Bruce 🖤 Amazing!
Perfeito sempre!!! Melhor do MUNDO!

Up the irons from America 🇺🇸
Personally, a live performance of Wasting Love was peak BD for me!
Which one?
Nice. The greatest!
Great choices.

The Talisman is unbeatable.
The Talisman is one of the hardest songs to sing of all genres. It takes incredible stamina and a lot of range.
Where is Halllowed taken from??? This version sounds FUCKING insane
it’s a bootleg from their show in Stuttgart 1982. I agree, it’s amazing. Better than Beast Over Hammersmith imo.

Hallowed Be Thy Name (Beast Over Hammersmith 82’)
That one is amazing as well but I think the Stuttgart performance is even better.
Talisman is masterpiece of live sing...

The talismã en vivo e a melhor
Do you speak English pal?

I agree, Bruce's vocal cords are going full throttle in this song 🤘 up the irons!
Hallowed is pitched up to F. Probably how the original bootleg sounds like.

Tate fan detected. Could Tate sing Jerusalem? Remember that song are just not high notes. There u can hear the versatility of Bruce's voice.
Mindig is te volt a favorit énekesem😍
But please Bruce take that terrible gray knit cap off your head because you look like a grandpa in it!

I disagree. There are more pauses in between versus and the tempo is slower.
Not the best singer imo but the best frontman of a band.
