    I’ve used Rethunk Junk by Laura many times, I don’t have a sprayer yet but always get nice coverage with just 2 coats on every surface so far.
    Thank you so much for the video, I’ve learned so much from you!

    Love the video. I like that the paint comes in a small size too. I have a project where I’m going to need several colors that I wouldn’t normally use so this would work for me. Yay for your move and staying in CA. I’m born and raised here and can’t imagine living anywhere. I think I’m freezing when it’s in the 70s so...

    RTJ has its own Prep your supposed to use. It helps the paint adhere to the wood better thus creating less coats

      Yes but you don't have to use their specific prep - it would be equivalent to a tsp or krud kutter - deglosser/degreaser. A lot of paint lines have a prep that they sell. You do always want to use one of these prep products but you don't have to use a brand specific one. As well it won't cut down on coats of paint, the only thing that will help that is priming your piece - they don't claim that the prep will cut down on coats of paint and providing better coverage - but it will help adhesion for sure! :)

    Was the dried texture addressed in your review? If so, I must have missed it. I always appreciate the details in your product reviews, and, since watching your review of Rustoleum’s Milk Paint, texture is one of the things I look forward to hearing about the most!
    Thanks for always keeping us hobbyists up to speed and in the know. Your reviews carry so much weight for me, personally.

      You know I may have missed mentioning that in the video - if I did, I apologize. It was super smooth and did not have any texture or grittiness at all. Thank you for watching and I’m so happy to know that!

    What are the pros and cons of using a resin paint?

    • @BorninaBarnBoutique
      @BorninaBarnBoutique  4 місяці тому

      I have never used a resin paint - so I’m sorry I cannot provide much feedback in that 😀

    I am a born and raised Californian. Moving away as soon as I am able to sell my place. Gorgeous state, terrible government.
    Nice project. Well done!!
    Just curious, what do you think about airbrushing pieces your refinishing?

    • @BorninaBarnBoutique
      @BorninaBarnBoutique  2 роки тому

      Thank you. The paint consistency is not right for an airbrush, unless you talking about airbrushing over the paint adding some character, just not my thing, but you could do it!

    What is the paint sprayer you're using and is that a vacuum attached???

    • @BorninaBarnBoutique
      @BorninaBarnBoutique  2 роки тому

      If you look in the show notes I have the make and model with a link. It’s an all in one turbine unit, the hose is from the gun to the motor - It is not a vacuum 😀

    You are suppose to use Rethunk Junk’s prep spray to clean not that stuff.

    • @BorninaBarnBoutique
      @BorninaBarnBoutique  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for your input - You can use whatever cleaner you prefer - you don’t have to use theirs. I worked directly with the company on this video and it is not required.
