Excellent job mike. Lots of beneficial bacteria, healthy fish, crystal clear water. Keep it up dude. I love that blue guppy. No more waiting I am just subscribing.....
That was an amazing tour! Thanks Mike ☺ I didn't even have to watch the whole video before I clicked subscribe, but I did watch the whole thing anyways! This was just awesome... What a dream - everybody looked happy and healthy. Loved the baby bristles too!
Very impressive!! I wonder what it takes to clean all those tanks lol. I love my aquarium full of guppies and what matters most is my beautiful scenery to compliment my existing fish collection.
Make guppy at 6:00 got me to subscribe - when I get me an aquarium setup again I will visit and purchase from you - I understand you are here in Lakeland Florida - I am on east coast.......but will travel to visit your place....
Thanks subscribing !!! Look forward to your visit. When you get ready you can schedule an appointment to visit by going to our website HERE imperialtropicals.com/apps/book-an-appointment/appointments/new
+ngo khiem thanks, are starting to put up new videos every week. The ones that is going up later today is a collecting trip in Green swamp, an amazing place here in Florida.
what are the things you are using for keeping the fish in and how much do they cost?I might want to use one for a goldfish pond to keep ryukin goldfish.
+peace_on_earth It is in Central Florida and it does not get extremely cold. Also they are inside a greenhouse, so that creates a lot of heat during the day.
Stevy B These fish are in a happy and in a healthy environment. I would worry more about the ones in nature that their habitats are being destroyed by mankind
Stevy B You really have no idea what you are talking about. As Mike stated, habitat destruction is a serious problem, but if you want to point fingers at people in the fish hobby, go to Walmart and other chain stores and see what inhumane conditions they keep fish in, and how they sell fish to people who clearly don't have the means to look after them. But educate yourself first on what fish need. These vats might not look like an attractive home to you, but if you look at the natural habitat of these fish, many look darn near identical to the inside of the vats. Hint - the fish would definitely NOT prefer them to be sterile and squeaky clean!
Is it right to put the homeless and beggers into prisons? By using the same reason, they r able to hv shelter on top of their head n they hv warm food in their stomach. They will b given medicine if they r sick n taken care of. Go ask any of the homeless n I'm sure u will find them x to go prison bcos of the benefits. Who r u to judge them? Human tends to b selfish. Bcos they r beautiful, they r kept n breed in tank n aquariums. All to please the eyes. Did anyone see ugly fish, with no attractive color r kept in tank n breed? No, right? Only attractive fish is kept. All living beings love freedom and liberation. Fish in nature does not depends on human n scare if human approach in d wild. Hv anyone of u see fish swims to u when u get close to them? If yes, those fish would hv extinct by now.
Stevy B You are blurring the lines between humans and animals. Animals are alive, and in many jurisdictions around he world this gives them rights that go far beyond lifeless objects. Personally I believe animals should be treated with respect, and not be mistreated and kept under inhumane conditions. Obviously that does not always happen in practice, and improving the situation is a cause worth fighting for. So far I believe we are on the same line. But animals are not humans, and as such they have no claim to human rights, nor should they have. I find it perfectly acceptable for humans to keep animals as a source for food and other products, as well as for enjoyment and entertainment - again, as long as they are not mistreated. It has been this way since humans first domesticated animals thousands of years ago, and it has worked for the benefit of humans and animals alike. Today there are many domesticated animal species that would never survive in the wild - from the Border Collie snoring in bed beside me while I type this, to the albino bristle nose plecos you see in this video. As far as aquarium fish are concerned, those kept under good conditions (ie not the wretches in Walmart tanks), have a far higher life expectancy and grow much larger than their counterparts in the wild. Who is to say they don't enjoy it? I am well aware that some organizations like PETA, under the battle cry of 'animals rights', effectively try to expand human rights to animals. Those folks generally claim that this is only the next logical step in expanding the same basic rights to more and more groups of humans, who were originally denied them. That argument does not hold water, because all those groups are humans, while animals simply are not. Historically, whenever the line between humans and animals was blurred, this had dire consequences. As a German let me tell you that the Nazis deliberately put political prisoners in dog houses by the gate and forced them to bark at approaching strangers. Ask any African American for similar examples from the period when chattel slavery was practiced in the US. This is not a road you want to travel! Now go out and enjoy a steak! PS: As far as keeping only attractive fish, this is of course largely true, but you might be surprised to hear that many serious fish enthusiasts participate in what's called the CARES program, in which people dedicate some tank space in their fish rooms to keep less attractive but endangered in the wild species. Again, you have lots to learn before passing judgement!
fmueller1 Yes. Rights. I believe every living beings has the right of their own. We do not have the right to purchase, to eat, to rare, to do anything to other living beings. Human right and animal right. What is right? What is wrong? To interfere is wrong. Not to interfere is right. Just because we think we should do this and that, it does not meant it fits the right for us to interfere their life. Let them be as their own and nature will be as always, nature. Look at middle east. Our government keep saying we need to interfere and look how worse it gets? Look at Crimea and Europe. The currency and economy is getting worse. This is the mindset that we have. We tend to interfere with others and think what is right and what is wrong. In the end, causing more problem. Same as the British has the right to kill and conquer the native. This is the wrong mindset. While we are strong, we say we have the right. But if another nation is stronger than us, they will do the same thing as well. How is that make us feel? Right to kill/conquer/steal from others just bcos we are strong? To me, this is not right. This is just pure arrogant. I am mentioning here is we need to stop interfere with others and not to judge. We are not superior than others. We are just like others. Everyone has emotions and needs. Did u think animals want to be caged/breed/slaughter to human? Human has no right to do so. U and I dont want to be caged/breed/slaughter as well. Even an ant scare if you blow on it. It will run fast and seek for shelter. They have emotion and they value their life. If we respect the animals, then we should respect their needs. Let them go. Let them be free. Let them be with nature. An adult human has lots of teeth. 32 of them. We only grew 4 as canine teeth suitable for consumption. This is through evolution as human start to eat meat. But in nature we are not meant to eat meat. All the other 28 teeth is use to cut and grind nuts, vegetables and fruits. Our intestine is very long. This is to allow longer time to absorb the nutrient from the vegetables and fruits. We are not suitable to eat meat. Meat is easier to spoil and when it travels through our digestive system, they rot faster and thus, creates toxins to our body. Which is why lions and tiger have very short intestine. Although we can withstand this toxin, however, after long term, we get cancer and many other illnesses. Hv you seen anyone cleanse their body by eating steak, fish, chicken, pork or whatever meat for 3 weeks? Lolz.... Only by eating vegetables and fruits, we can cleanse the body and rejuvenate the body as they are full of antioxidant and they are suitable for our body. This is the right way to go. We can always find other way to help nature and community around us. That is the way of thinking and the way to go. Imagine how many materials you and I use for our house? How much wood is use for the roof, flooring, walls, ceiling, furniture? We use water and use electricity, which is generated from coal and nature gas to warm us. So much fuel us use around America and around the world. How much did we gv back to nature? How many trees did we plant to give back to mother earth? A reflection on giving and compassion to others and nature is the right way.
Excellent job mike. Lots of beneficial bacteria, healthy fish, crystal clear water. Keep it up dude.
