Love waking up this morning and watching this video in my recommended. Your Brookies are colorful nice to see the spawn colors into December. Job well done explaining and great action. Enjoyed the video.

Thanks for the video. I live in west central NH and will be going out to check ice today (1/5/24). I have fallen through the ice a couple of times and will not go out on ice that thin. Stay safe.

It's never fun but I'm only in a couple feet of water so just wet legs. Be safe

Love your comment about telling people to stop whining! I started using a tent to film so no one call tell me shit haha.

only reason for adding shot to the line is when you are using live bait that swims, and you size the weight to the pulling strength of the bait so that it stays at the given depth and doesn't swim up toward the surface or in circles tangling your line like emeralds tend to do. or even swim all the way back up into the ice hole making them not even in the lake anymore.

Good point! The floating eggs I use need 1 shot so the line stays straight

Nice spot with plenty of action. Always fished for Brookies under the ice with flashy spoons very aggressively with decent results. Never seen that type of rod holder before, what are they? I usually use Arctic Warriors. Nice videos. Keep up the recordings.

It's called the snapper. It's a hook setting device

    Where is this?

No reason to tell people really, it's on the stocking report for New Hampshire. The place is tiny and gets a ton of pressure. It only fishes well first ice. NH has 4 or 5 other lakes that are just like this one.

Whomever says Brook don’t taste the best have been eating pallet fed Brookies. A wild Brookie say in the Rocky Mountain of Colorado at 10,000 feet naturally born and raised taste amazing!

Personal opinion, not a huge fan of fish stocking, wish they didn't do it at all but thats a long conversation.. still cool to see some fish come through the ice, always great content thanks for sharing.

I agree, fish stocking has its place but they over do it in some places. Thanks for watching

The police wasn’t happy you there because they don’t want to have to do their job if something happens. Only if they knew how hard core and over cautious most of us ice fisherman are. Great video buddy! 😊

@@BendItFishing I went out and Brookie ice fished, took the aqua vu and got 11 fish all on aqua vu and the big camera I bent to release the last fish and my magnetic go pro holder gave and the go pro went down the hole into the weeds. There go 12 fish clips. Felt like a kick in the nuts :(

The best tasting fish in the world- wild brook trout. The worst tasting fish in the world- stocked brook trout.
