Awh...that is sad to think about. But, we will continue vlogging our other trips if that makes you feel better? I mean, our next few trips won't be as cool as JAPAN but we will try to make it as interesting as possible haha. All we got to do is eat eat eat right? Haha
Just watched a bunch of your videos, and since you have Japan vlogs and your next trip is SF (2 places that are super important to me) I had to subscribe!
TokiYuYu Thanks for checking us out! I just looked at your channel too and it's so awesome. You have many Japan vids so I will catch up on them soon. Thanks for subbing :) Are you from SF?
Awh thank you for checking us out! The link below is the exact one we went to! Although there is a closer one on the same strip where all the high-end shops are. Hope you get to visit! goo.gl/maps/2zudAA27tXC2
hi again ! i need your opinion , we plan to visit tokyo , nara, osaka and kyoto . can u suggest what route should we take ? can you post more video abt the transportation. we were wondering if taking JR is a must or subway is enough . thanks in advance!
Lydia Lee Hello there! So I'd say visit Tokyo first cause I'm assuming you're landing there. Then pick one of the three cities (Kyoto, Osaka, or Nara) to stay in and just commute to the other cities cause Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka are all within 30 minutes from each other via train. Or you can stay in each city as well but I'd say there's no specific route you need to take cause the 3 cities are all close to each other. And yes, I will definitely try my best to do a video on transportation. When do you leave for your trip?
Literally watched all your Japan vlogs! Going there in 13 days and basically feel like me, my bf and my friend will be doing all the things you guys did! We'll be there for 3 weeks and in your experience, what is the best way to exchange yen? Been googling answers and I haven't seen a solid answer to it. Like is it better to exchange it through your bank? Or do it in japan? Help pls!
Hello! Sorry for such a delayed response! I hope our vlogs were informative enough. You guys will have such a blast haha. The best way to exchange would be in your country, at your local bank. Make sure you call them first to see if they have the yen before you go to the branch (one of the branches should have enough yen for you guys). Second best way to pull more money (in Japan) is at 7 Eleven's bank/ATM. Just go to the convenient store and they should have an ATM machine to do so. Make sure you call your the number on your bank card to inform them that you will be in Japan so they don't lock your card. Do not get money anywhere else except these two places unless you really have to. You will get ripped off so badly at other places.
Ok great! We recommend getting it if you are going to one other major city like (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara) because it will be cheaper or the same price as just buying the round trip tickets so might as well get the JR. If you are just staying in Tokyo, then I don't think it will be worth it because we rarely used the JR line to get around when we were in Tokyo
Of course! So we (2 people) went for two and half weeks, excluding flights and airbnb apartments, we spent about $800 each week for the both of us which includes (food, subway tickets, admission fees, shopping, etc.). So to over estimate a bit, $2000 total spending money for two and half weeks, for two individuals.
ruth macias Hey there! It's rough to say how much someone would spend due to habits but I'd say the range would be between 600-1000$ per person per week. $600 being on the frugal side and $1000 being more on the high spending side. If it makes it easier, expect about $40/day for food if you're being decently cheap and experimental at the same time.
David Kim Hello! Magnum is mainly Thai and Hmong; I'm Vietnamese and Chinese. And she's actually not my sister haha we just look alike. She's from Japan though. Met her in the states! Thanks for your comment :D

Yes. You should make plans to visit Japan some time. Lots and lots of street food. We wished we had two stomachs to eat more...
Definetely, looks like Japan has so many good vibes!
Yes. I dream about being in Japan at least once a week. I don't even think about Japan consciously. It seriously was awesome.

Just a hotpot with the meaty goodness in it. More similar to sukiyaki tho @_@ I thought they promoted everywhere HAHAHA.
Oh snaps. That sounds good. We didn't see that...maybe we were blind. I would of ordered that in a heartbeat.
The food probably already captured your eyes and heart before you could look into other stuffs anyway HAHA.

Our trip is not until end of October. Do u recommend getting JR pass?
Ok great! Hello guys whats up
May I know how much did you roughly spend in total for the whole trip to Japan?
Of course! So we (2 people) went for two and half weeks, excluding flights and airbnb apartments, we spent about $800 each week for the both of us which includes (food, subway tickets, admission fees, shopping, etc.). So to over estimate a bit, $2000 total spending money for two and half weeks, for two individuals.
wkndtravelers omg I just read on another vlog that it was 1000 for each person for one week, is that budget exagerated?

Was not the beef bowl delicious?
