    HIIII!!!!! About the Canadian shirt thing. In my vlog which is not released yet, I had a layover in Vancouver where I talked about how much I love Vancouver and that I needed a Vancouver shirt. So i bought one and just so happens it has a huge Canadian flag on it, thats it. There was no further thought process. And btw I LOVE that shirt! Its soft...you'd be surprised how many shirts just feels like wearing starched up cotton.

    "I learned my Japanese through anime"
    Bruh, I'm so confused cuz a lot of Japanese people will say that the Japanese that comes from anime is usually wrong but then this guy survived the day just using what he learned from anime. Also, the vendors there spoke a little English, so I give them props for being dedicated and considerate.

    tamago is supposed to be sweet

    • @xnonsuchx
      @xnonsuchx 8 років тому +7

      I was surprised he didn't know that. It's usually slightly to mildly sweet, though, and maybe what he got was a lot sweeter than normal.

    • @thatdudebro
      @thatdudebro 8 років тому +1

      tomago literally just means "grilled egg" you can make it sweet or salty or whatever the f u want.

    • @_silverword
      @_silverword 8 років тому +5

      idol hands it is traditionally sweet because tamago is typically a meal ender, like a dinner mint

    • @mimine7823
      @mimine7823 8 років тому +6

      I'm a Japanese. We have both. Dashi Maki Tamago, which is served at Izakaya, is normally salty and it's a kind of appetizer going with alcohol drinks. Also, it varies depending on the region.

    • @_silverword
      @_silverword 8 років тому +3

      Nanako Mine well, i work with sushi and with tamago in relation to that, its almost always sweet. considering Mike's at a fish market, he should expect sweet tamago

    Those sushi temples with the long lines are some of the best anywhere. I made it into Sushi Dai in 20 minutes at lunch. It was Saturday. Beyond description. It was like a church - we were afraid to talk. But they were friendly. Keep ‘em coming.

    That crab paste according to my Japanese friend at work is actually Crab "guts" which are creamed and then served in a shell... it is actually an Okinawan specialty and generally only older generations like it... (it was very popular in 1980's)
