Agree that these used are one of the best daily driver, sports-oriented car. I’d include 335/435 into that too. And for a bit more the 240/340/440 has even more potential, time will tell if they’re as reliable as N55.

Looking at this car and getting it tuned with dinan, seems like it’d be nice, but that no oil temp/coolant is stupid, and that’s important to me as well. I also don’t like the look of it either tbh. Maybe with an app you might be able to see oil temp. Also do you know the max width of tires you can run on these cars? My sister stock M4 is running F: 275 and R: 285 and has 20 mm spacers so the tires are flush with the fender. Do you think you can run anything close to this size on this car?

"400 whp". prove it. you didnt gain 160ish hp without upgrading turbo on n55.

look on the forums at any fbo N55 EWG running the Bm3 E30 flash and you'll see numerous dyno graphs of 400whp+ lol

B O im not asking you to believe me lol, if you want to deny what i’m saying by all means feel free to. i don’t have any plans to dyno my car at the moment, i’ll do that when my build is complete. & im not sure where you’re getting “160ish” whp gains. it’s more like 100-110whp gains in power 🤦🏼‍♂️

@@SimplyCarThings its simple math.... rwd loose about 20% in drivetrain. that puts 300hp at 240whp. If you are at 400whp thats 160ISH.

@@Bo12346hhgfgdg your "simple math" does not correlate with real world power figures. Most M235's have been shown to dyno anywhere between 290-310whp. M235i's are rated at 320hp stock & 332lb/tq from factory but those figures are underrated. It is possible to squeeze out close to 450whp from the N55 with a stock turbo EWG setup assuming you have a full E85 custom map with PI or XDI's upgraded HPFP
