used to play with RC cars back in early 2000s, iv put 20% nitro in a 2-stroke old weed eater from Wal-Mart. it would run like a scaled dog but overheat and freeze up, once the weed eater cooled off it would run again. lol. AGAIN thank u brotha
Great video, i have a similar build lightly modified. Was looking for a lil trick to get a lil more out of it with out buying more parts. This just might do it. Im hitting 48.8 mph top speed. Looking for a solid 50mph. 👍🫵🏾 you are the man!
I'm gast now waching this video I used to run a all stock tacumpsa 5 hp on about a 50 / 50 mix on rc nitro fual 20 works 30% a littil better. And tuned the stock carb that seamed to work pritty good and on a dudol bug mini bick fram. Stock geras did about 45 no governor.
Stock length billet rod mod 2 cam 24mm mukini carburetor 10k rpm cast iron flywheel 22 lbs valve spring in a non hemi predator 212 ..... What to set my flywheel and valve lash too
Great job on your videos @blackk66! Can you help me out, I have the same Nibbi pe24 and when I WOT it from an idle and let go of the gas the 212 will want to cut off. What can I do to fix it? Non hemi 212 with GPS racer kit, 10t clutch & 42t sprocket. 55 slow jet and 130 main. 750ft above sea level
you can put easily more of nitro in it.... jet's only need to be insanely large... with 60% it really starts to sound like nitro engine... check my funfun videos from back years, when i was goofing with strattons and nitro :D
I have a question for you Black66. I run 24mm nibbi, 22 and 28mm mikuni and I'm at 5200 ft. I tune them and they run great. Almost everyone has to have the carb intake covered and a quick pull to prime before they will start. Bigger idle jet, maybe?
I been trying to tune my tilly 212 stage 2 with the 24mm nibbi too. Im running a 105 main and a 35 pilot right now and it's running very strong! Problem I have is once it heats up (about 25-30 minutes) it starts to miss. Can't decide if its lean or rich. I'm in Beaver, PA not sure of elevation here. oh yeah needle on position #4 (2nd up from pointed end)
Yup … bigger jets .. swear to god just take them out and run it … if it doesn’t work perfect I’ll owe you a coke ! And on the timing you’ll want to retard it. Good video 💪✅
Thanks! I get them form many different vendors like GoPowerSports and Studz racing. . I even pick them up from sellers on ebay and Amazon from time to time.
people frequently mount them either way, all that matters is how well the chain lines up. It is probably technically better to have them "backwards" so that the sprocket is closer to the block and has less leverage under torque against the crank bearings. it also probably cools the clutch pack better to have them turned away from the block.
Lol, I've ran Nitro RC cars, airplanes and Top fuel Nitro Harley Dragbikes, and when the words Nitro and what could go wrong are used in a single sentence it usually turns out that you will see all kinds of things that can go wrong . Nitro, if your doing things properly with a serious or semi serious intent on going faster can have a steep learning curve and the tuition is expensive, even at the 20% to 30% levels of Nitro most RC fuels have jetting properly through a gasoline carb gets tricky. And then there is always the possibility of trace amounts of Nitro popping off in a combustion chamber of a hot but non running engine when a kill switch gets flipped back on which then blows the head off the engine or the piston crown down to the middle of the connecting rod. Seen andvdone bothe of those. But Im just here to watch someone else entertain me so lemme grab a soda and some chips and lets start this show.
Hey b66 I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere I put in a new mongoose .272 lift Cam and changed to a 0.10 head gasket and now im having no luck getting it started I've adjusted my valves and clearances the cam and still nothing do you have any suggestions?
WWAAAAAAAAIIIT……….. LOL MY FRIEND’S DAD RACED CARS ON DIRT OVAL TRACKS. THE CALLED THEM (((SUPER MODIFIED. CLASS))). I RAN THAT FUEL IN AN 8HP BRIGGS/STRATTON GOCART MOTOR. MOUNTED ON A 1 1/2 HP MINI BIKE FRAME (MADE TO FIT). LOL OIL CHANGE EVERY RUN. IT BLEW OFF COBUREATOR FROM ENGINE. WE HAD TO TIGHTEN BOLTS WHEN IT BACK FIRED OUT A 12 INCH STRAIGHT PIPE EXHAUST…..BLUE FLAMES. IT FRIED OIL AND LOCKED UP ENGINE EVENTUALLY! YOU NEED THAT FUEL IN YOUR MOTOR! I WOULD USE SPECIAL. HIGH PERFORMANCE OIL! THEN CHANGE IT AFTER EACH SINGLE RUN!
We used to run Karts back in the 80's on Methanol and nitro. Check out the playlist on the channel for more minibike and kart combos! ua-cam.com/video/hK42YGn7yXY/v-deo.html
First comment your the best!
Hey B66, the expert knows his stuff. He can do mechanical work using gardening tools. He is a genius. Excellent content!
Yes, he is awesome ! 😃👍
@@Black66How about lifting the needle and adjusting the idlejet, may that help. Keep on😊
WITHOUT TIMING YOU DON'T GAIN MUCH ADVANCE THAT BABY THEN TEST KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
As always folks another great video and test from the man Black66 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎
More Power 🔋 thanks to that Minibike Expert 😎smells like Magic I bet black magic ✨️
Been wondering about this, added some a few days ago and noticed it right away. Love the smell of the exhaust too lol
Wow that looks fun and I really really really want to smell it

Awesome video, thanks for sharing dude! The mini bike expert in the beginning with all those miscellaneous non mini bike tools tho🤣🤣🤣
I run my one drag mini with 90% methional and 10% nitro all the time engine runs very cool the engine is a Highly modified briggs raptor
Yes, it is very common to run these engines on Methanol.
Keep the videos coming while i try to find a place to ride my Rascal in Upstate New York! I have to tell you, you're videos are cool!
I love these kind of videos
Hey man, you are good at what you do! Great video ✌️
Thanks !
You're the best
Great video, i have a similar build lightly modified. Was looking for a lil trick to get a lil more out of it with out buying more parts.
This just might do it.
Im hitting 48.8 mph top speed.
Looking for a solid 50mph. 👍🫵🏾 you are the man!
Try running Coleman camping stove fuel...you should like that as well...thanks again for sharing...
Awesome video 66black
awesome sauce haha I have some m1 from my briggs flat head, might get some nitro and make my own mix. Very cool!
Sounds angry in a good way
It would run even better if u added more timing

Lol I feel stupid didn't know you did this video. Smh
I forgot about better fuel, and no Ethinol!😊
You should do another episode with with timing and correct jetting and see how she move out!!!!
Yes, I'll have to do that.
@@Black66 love the video cause I'm gonna try it my self to see if I'm gonna pick up 3 mph do you thing I can!!!!
@@big420ccboiz9 I think it could pick up more than that if you jet it right
@@Black66 wow that's crazy
Dave...Top Fuel dragsters have 4 stroke engines. They run on 90% nitro.
Good video...say hello to your expert...what is his name again...lol
I think its Einstein or something ...
For the newbies don’t ever try and run racing fuel in ur bike unless ur fully built
You might want to check the plug, even put a little cooler plug in!!!!
You must live in Nevada by my understanding of the mountain shape and where they are facing, or are you in Arizona? 😅
you should a turbo and do a video on it i would love to see it

Slightly more expensive. Just a couple dollars. Lol
Try some Klotz nitro additive!

With vehicles the math equals out to roughly 30% more fuel.
That’s for e85 I believe for with stuff you need more than twice the fuel to make full power
Black, try this with a PWK 28 and big valve head, 335 or better cam, and some M5, tell me what ya think lol.
I do have some big valve head content on the channel . We used to run Methanol back when we raced karts.
Would a 18 tooth clutch and 40 rear be good for good top speed straight chain

What jets did you have in it prior to gas change ? Pilot and main ?
What happened to the dual spark plug video 😂
That would be cool!
Can you put a electric turbo ?? Do a video
Ill bet one tooth advanced and it would lift the front end
Does it hurt the engine or something
Yup … bigger jets .. swear to god just take them out and run it … if it doesn’t work perfect I’ll owe you a coke ! And on the timing you’ll want to retard it. Good video 💪✅

Where do you get your jet kits can’t seem to find a good set, thanks love the channel

I have a legitimate question why do you mount your clutches backwards
people frequently mount them either way, all that matters is how well the chain lines up. Yes, we used to run nitro with our methanol in our racing karts back in the 1980's . We would add a few ounces to a gallon of methanol. Fun times !
What do you think about the Honda navis?
I think it's a good bike. Especially for the price.
What are you using to clock your mini bikes
A Dragy performance meter
Airplane fuel is 100LL. This is RC airplane car etc... fuel...
