I just test drove this bike today. It has great torque and semi- comfy ride but it didn’t feel like a cruiser but more like a sport bike. I would recommend this for someone who still wants a sport bike with a cruiser type look. The semi comfy ride is because of the seating position. You’re leaning more forward which places stress on your lower back just as a street bike would. The Sport Scout Limited felt way better in my opinion and would be my choice in the new Scout lineup
I really like the throttle mapping. A lot of bikes I've riden, especially in sport mode, seems very light switchy. It's either on or off. These scouts seem to actually have a power curve that i enjoy.
It was a blast! Really missing my scout now haha. Big fan of your content as well, I’ve learned a lot about bikes through your channel. Keep killing it!
I like my scout 101 but it came with mirrors down for me. The ride home I had so much anxiety as I was not used to the placement I flipped them first thing when I got in my garage. Feels more usable now, but it’s less cool looking 😂
Yeah the scout is an amazing bike. I think Indian is right on par with Harley, might even have them beat in the looks department. The one big plus with Harley is the dealership network. They’re so many Harley dealerships that if anything goes wrong on the road you’re probably not too far from a dealer.
Hey man, good job 👍🏼 Looks like we’ve been doing this about the same time. I enjoy your channel. I’m up around Waco, maybe we could meet up sometime. All the best 👊🏼
Ironic that you discover how the Pan America is less conceived for where you're using it most: the road. A psychologist would find that when you state : "I don't regret choosing the Pan America", you're involuntarily admitting the opposite.
In a perfect world I’d have both. The Scout is a “cooler” bike visually but doesn’t have the utility of the Pan America. I’m currently building a bicycle rack for the Pan America, that’s just not possible on a scout. Yes the majority of my riding is on the road but I want the option and versatility to be able to do more. But if you just want to feel cool and look cool, get a scout.
So I'm looking at getting a new scout its my perfect looking bike, my friends have adventure and say if I wanna go on a 2/3/4 day tour I will struggle, but I'm sure I can change a few things to make it easier for that and 97% of the time im not touring so why's it matter if that makes sense
Yay for Indian's pricing being 10 grand more than it should for _EVERYTHING._ Don't we all love Congress spending trillions on crap and handing us the credit card bill?
I still think the Scout is a great bike and looks amazing but the versatility isn’t there that I wanted in a bike. I wanted to be able to carry more things, go longer distances, and not stay on the black top. The Scout is limited in those areas. In a perfect world I’d have both bikes but my pocket ain’t that deep haha.
@@cruisingwithkyle So if you don't go offroad and don't carry camping gear - the 101 is the better choice? Sounds like a choice between a sports car and an SUV. Not really comparable, you just pick your purpose and buy that bike.
Thanks for coming out Kyle!!!! Glad you enjoyed that 101!
Had a blast! Great seeing everyone and loved the bikes!

Maybe that handlebar could be put on the 101
Love my 101 a week in and I can't stop smiling....

Yeah the mapping on the ride modes is amazing you can really feel and difference between them.
@cruisingwithkyle just got an update that my bike was built and is being tested. The shipping date is June 7.
@RobDaKid87 Right on! Have fun on that thing!
I've been riding my scout in standard mode. This makes me realize I need to try sport mode.
Looks and sounds like you had a great time! 👌🏾

wow
Hi kyle!
you came back to indian!!
How was the ground clearance on the 101? The first bike you barely leaned over and scrapped it better hard
It still scrapes if you lean too much. I feel like the ground clearance might be slightly higher than the original Scout.
I think the inverter forks is a game changer because the bobber isn’t much as nimble.
"the bobber isn’t much as nimble" ????
Nicely done video 🔥🔥🔥, thanks mate 🤘
Thanks!

Hey man , what if the dealer don’t have in in stock. Can you make the purchase online?
@Josemunoz-hi9nh I don’t know about online but you can definitely put one on order at the dealership.
@@Josemunoz-hi9nh Ask your dealer?
Buying my first bike real soon. I wanted a Harley but damn… the Scout has me sold I think… damn. Is Indian as respected as Harley?

@@cruisingwithkyle dude thanks so much for the info and fast response! Great video!
Great vid you should do more reviews
Thanks! Yeah I really enjoy doing them and trying out different bikes.

Thanks! I appreciate it. Yeah I’m just north of Austin, always down for a cruise.
Clearly you need more than one bike. Just like guitars, you always need just one more.
Hahaha this is true.
Mark makes a good point. 👍
how fast does it go?
Over 120......
Do you still have your scout?
No, I traded it in for the Pan America.
@@cruisingwithkyle I love my scout. I'm almost done with my look.

@cruisingwithkyle you'll trade that one too haha
Rad!
This reminds me, personally, of my Night Rod Special I used to have back in the day...

@@cruisingwithkyle Thanks. While I find the 101 attractive, I ride a 48 last gen. Totally impractical but I love her looks and the way she goes

An Indian Scout 60 is $11,749. So by your math this motorcycle is only worth $1,749?
Didn’t you get rid of your scout for a pan am?? Why are you testing out the 101 now?? Kinda lost credibility don’t you think??
