Just to clarify! I’ve seen a lot of comments saying “what about air roll right?” My response to this is if you prefer your car to spin to the right then use air roll right. I tried using air roll right and could not get the hang of it so I just kept with air roll left. There is no right or wrong answer to what your binds are it is only what you prefer. If you want to use both left and right then I would suggest you move the rear view mirror from “B” to the click in of the right analog stick. Then move air roll right to “B.” The reasoning behind this is “B” is the right most input on your controller. So that would help you remember which direction your spinning. Hopefully this helps anyone who is using air roll right instead of left. I probably should have mentioned this in the tutorial. Even though these binds are geared more towards beginner players. If this helps you equally then that is just as fine!
U know your air roll bind. The left bumper. It has score board for me and Its really annoying in games. Do u know a way how to remove or change scoreboard bind?
Yeah you can go into settings and bind it to a button your not using, or you can just unbind it completely. I don’t remember what mine is set to but I’m sure you will find something you like for yourself!

my binds are already like those for the most part except the left air roll, and i have always struggled to half flip because you cant with air roll as bumper and you need left or right air roll, so thank you you made it so now i can half flip and it wasnt hard to get used to the binds. Thank you!

Just go into the key binds menu and then go to power slide and choose the bind you want. Then go to airroll then choose the same keybind. That way both power slide and airroll have the same button assigned to them. That should work if it doesn’t then that’s weird
Okay I have a question, the binds in this video make sense but I find it hard to use drive forwards/backwards on R2/L2 since I have become accustomed to having it on my L stick. Basically I just push my L stick forwards and backwards to go in either direction, so as a player with 3 years of experience do you think this is a good bind to have? It also frees up R2/L2 but I have trouble using them with my middle fingers. What do you think of it ? If you think using R2/L2 could be more helpful then I can get used to that again, I just need your help in this.
If you have been using your own keybinds for about 3 years then no I don’t think it is necessary for you to change your own keybinds. Did you copy Rizzo’s settings? Cuz I that he uses pretty similar controls to what you just described to me. I feel like this tut was more geared towards beginner players who don’t really know what to change their default binds too. I’m sure over the course of your three years you have experimented with a lot of binds and have come up with something that you are comfortable with.

I found this bind from a different video that said using L stick will free up R2/L2 for things like air rolls and other things but I just left them unbinded. I only started in the end of season 1 so Im still pretty new, I've been trying to find bindings that can help me stay fluid and also do the 0.1 percent of aerials I know lol. The main thing Ive been focusing on is trying not to rush into the ball like a maniac and try to wait for opportunities. This has helped me get better but I still haven't hit my skill ceiling yet which is why Im looking more into my bindings.
@@stardust6998 My bad lol. I don't think it is bad but it seems awkward. The reason being most games that I have played that have driving in my experience had the forward/backward on Right Trigger and Left Trigger. I get that it frees up some binds which can be helpful. Personally I would switch back to Left and Right trigger (forward/backwards) and get used to that. You can also bind things to the click in of your analog sticks. Your thumbs naturally rest on those button so it would not require you to have to change muscle memory. Also it is very smart that you wait patiently so the play comes to you. Rushing is one of the worse things you could do because you put yourself out of position. It is good that you have recognized this earlier on because that will afford you better chances to win and improve. Hopefully this can help you

You probably have reset shot assigned to the same button your boost is. I would go into your keybind settings and change reset shot to something else or deactivate it
You can use either right or left. Some people use both and some only use one direction like myself. I prefer air roll left because I’ve gotten used to it! The reason why I don’t use both is because I get my left and right mixed up sometimes as crazy as that sounds lol

Well I don’t really know how these settings messed with your graphics etc. What controller are you using? I want to help but I don’t know why these keybinds are not working for you or why they messed with your graphics.
@@evanaulick9 if the keybinds aren’t working try returning them to default. After changing them to default change the keybinds again back to what you want them to be or what I showed in the video. Make sure that some of the inputs don’t overlap each other. Hopefully this helps

It might be because you have two buttons assigned to one. I would just go into your keybinds settings and find out what your acceleration button is and your reverse button are assigned to. Then change them to what they are supposed to be. Hopefully this works and if it doesn’t I’ll try to think of a new solution
Some people hold their controllers with claw grip. When I’m holding my Xbox controller my right pointy finger sits on right bumper and my right middle finger sits on the right trigger. My left hand is the same except I only use my pointy finger for left trigger and left bumper
@@stardust6998 it’s weird sometimes they feel fast on some days and slow on others. What you can do when it is feeling slow is to start up a custom lobby and change the game speed to slow so that when you change it back it feels fast again. Placebo effect
I’m pretty sure that the air roll option is still there. Just look a little closer while scrolling through the keybind settings and you will most definitely see it.

I can’t say which setting is best for free styling but I can tell you what has helped me make my shots look cleaner and that was air roll left. I’m comfortable when my car is spinning to the left so that’s why I learned to use air roll left. Other people like their car spinning to the right. If I were you and wanted to get good at freestyling I would choose an air roll left or right depending on which direction you feel most comfortable with.

You can still speed flip with these settings. That mechanic is pretty difficult to get consistently but it is still possible.
The only bad thing is the score board
