My grandpa had this car in the same color yellow, but the hardtop was the same color yellow, not black. It also had the Mark 5 Allegro air conditioning unit under the dashboard. Interior looked identical, he had that car into the early 1980's before the frame rusted so bad it couldn't be driven. Lots of great memories about that Mercury.
