Would you say going for Security Specialty first helps you prepare gives you the felling of a Professional certification but in a more easy and accessible way?

Yes, I think it will help prepare you because security is part of the Solutions Architect - Professional

Hi James thanks for sharing the information. I have cleared the AWS Solution Architect Associate and Security Professional Exam. But not able to clear the AWS solutions Architect professional in 1st attempt I will be trying in the 2nd attempt. I have gone through few courses ok udemy and practice exams. Can you please tell how should I prepare to get it cleared this time?

Congrats on passing those. How close were you to passing the Solutions Architect - Professional? Because that might change my answer for you.

The knowledge from the Security Specialty is definitely good to have for the Solutions Architect Professional. I'm guessing your 630 means there are 8 or 9 more questions that you need to get right, so you aren't too far off. There are so many possible questions on the exam, which means you have to know everything, but based on what you already have experience with, I suggest going deeper on Organizations, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Route 53, Cloudfront, and at least know the purpose of each machine learning service.
