Great video explaining the difference. Studying the difference you can tell the Professional exam needs more in depth knowledge in comparison to the Associate Exam. Thank you Michael.
Thanks Mike. You are truly the best. This video is so on point. This has helped to enlighten me on the right path. SA Pro is the way to go. I already have my Associate cert. I hope to be #cloudhired someday!
Excellent advise Mike, certifications give you an opportunity to meet and greet. The SAP is the gold standard in AWS, it is a more challenging exam so at least an employer will assume that you have some technical attributes in mastering the Cloud fundamentals.
Akwo. Thank you. Exactly it’s like an admission ticket to the interview contest. The interview contest is then won with Technical competency Soft skills Executive presence Emotional intelligence Business acumen Etc
"The first cloud was Frame Relay, and the next cloud was ATM, and the next cloud after that was the BGP RFC 2547 VPN (...)" It would be fantastic if you could elaborate on these ideas. I think ideas like these encourage us to think more broadly. It's always useful to be able to discern between terms that instruct and terms that advertise.
Can you complete the SAA and then the SAP right after without the 2 years suggested experience? Or do you have to complete SAA, DA, SOAA before going for Solutions Architect Professional?
You can take the SAP right away. You don’t need any experience for this. You can pass this exam with a few months prep. And definitely don’t waste your time with the developer associate, sysops or Devops associate to pass a simple exam
