Thanks for the refresher. I've had this trimmer for a few years but I just ran out of string the other day. I love how easy EGO has made it.
I smiled and nodded in sympathy over "Bubba" who wants everyone to hear his exhaust. I swear he's been to my neighborhood a number of times, too.

nope not on mine no clicks nor does it depress to rotate only twists the line in my hand sooooo i hand spoool holding the ends as best i can whilst trying to seat the spool it invariably birds nest or get one of the lines cross threaded or snagged on the wind so full restart ok mine might be a older model (seen the auto wind and auto line feed ) but mines aint like that
