- SRIXON Z785 vs MIZUNO ST 190 Dan and Lester test the Mizuno ST190 Driver and pitch it up against the Srixon Z785 driver. See what these two golf clubs could do for your golf swing and driving game with this simple and easy to follow golf review. If you are looking at a new driver in 2020 maybe one of these is or is not on the list to try but check out the numbers from todays club review and club test to see if maybe they should be. Srixon golf and Mizuno golf are both companies that offer great golf equipment but possibly are not the most aggressive with the marketing making them more cult in the driver world.

Srixon are totally underrated...ive a bag full of them...great clubs
I hit the ST190 at a demo day and almost bought it after 3 swings. I tried it again on another day and had the same result. I love the look, sound, feel, and ball flight. My dispersion with it is been better than every other drivers I've tried. Others drive the ball farther but I haven't hit the ball any straighter.
Good review guys and always good to Lester in the studio - more of the same please!
Completely agree. Two totally underrated drivers....at very competitive prices!!! Well worth trying out.
These guys are a brilliant addition to the channel - enjoyed that video
Been ping for a while, had the g30 and the g400, thought I'd never change from ping, tested the mizuno st190 and wow, loved the feel, sound and got more distance, now in the bag!!
They both game very well. A match for anything out there... And have we seen the new driving God..! Great vid guys xx
Great video gentlemen. Nice to see Lester enter the fitting studio for a video.
I play the Srixon Z785 going from the Ping G400 max , I didn't really like the look of the Ping or the sound.
Srixon are excellent clubs and I would say they are underrated and I look forward to guys like you testing them.
I have not had the pleasure of trying either driver, but after last years reviews of the ST 180 and this years review of the St 190 by almost all of the UA-cam Golf Pro's we are all missing out on very good drivers. Where I live over here in the States in mid West Illinois there is not much interest in these two drivers, a shame. Good video Dan, thanks.
I love my ST190 and we have a Mizuno and Srixon club fitter here in NH.
Great stuff bruhs!!! Love seeing these driver compares with the less marketed brands... Get the word out!!! Got to let us know what we're missing out on!!!
Dan, I think all drivers are the same basically and it really comes down to the marketing and hype of the companies to push them in our faces and personal preference. Both really good drivers at a great price point. Maybe it our fault, thinking that dearer is better.
I game the ST 190 and love it! Best feeling/ sounding driver I've ever played and the performance is right on "par" with the bigger names.
Love the look of both. Hard to get my 2016 M2 out of my hands though. Would love to hear them outside though. C'mon, Get Up, Dan!
I love my Srixon Z355 driver. Very underated clubs!
You really should offer some wireless mic's!!
Love the vid Dan way to guide Lester in a reviewing
I love my srixon z765 driver!
I have Mizuno st190 atmos black driver . Love it so much got the 3 wood 👍. Fitted in kurokage in 3 wood
I've hit the ST190 a few times and quite like it, the shaft I used was an Atmos Tour Spec 6s (65g). I currently play a TM Burner Superfast with a 48g Regular Shaft, and i found i hit the mizuno quite well despite the weight and flex difference. I rarely hit the toe or heel with the ST190, they all stayed within the middle part which was quite surprising for me. I agree about the way it looks, it looks very lofted as did the ST180. Inspires a bit more confidence I feel.
I might go to their next demo day just to get an idea for my numbers. At a minimum find out what shaft flex and weight i should be using in both my iron and driver. I've not hit the Z785, but it does look quite classic and performs well!
I really like the Srixon, it seems to have a bit more forgiveness and sounds really nice.
I just played with my new Callaway big bertha today and gained 20-30 yards over my cheap driver. Best 30$ I've ever spent!!
I’ve hit the Srixon 585 with Hzrdus Red and it is solid. Fixed hosel and heel weighted so tends to pull
David how do you feel about your Srixon 585 driver after a year of gaming it...
@@SuperJupiter33 It’s a good driver for the money. Not adjustable which for some is turn off. Long when you put a good swing on it. Replaced by ZX5 this year. Shane Lowry played 585 when he won the Open.
I play the game the Mizuno. Was gaming the Callaway and Ping, I hit them all same distance. Go with looks and feel. More art of golf than science for me.
Expanding in what Lester said..... it would be interesting to know what drivers are being used on your for those pros without a club contract, ie free choice.
Thanks for the video, really interesting results, have to admit neither were on my radar, but probably due to them not being marketed as aggressively as other drivers (from my perspective at least).
Try Lester in the mizuno st 190 g the adjustable one !
I use a lower tee when hitting my MIzuno. Wonderful then. Same problem with higher loft when using a "standard" rubber range tee.
I loved the way the srixon looked, and felt and I really wanted to play it but I'm close to +8 AOA at impact and without a head I can move in to the 7* range I just can't keep spin under control. I've really worked hard to try and get my attack more shallow through impact but it's almost 20 yards of carry difference between the 9.5 head lofted to 8.5 and my 9.0 Cobra f9 lofted at 7.0. The srixon was launching at 19* and spinning at 3300 vs the cobra at 16* and 2200.
I game the ST190, have it set at 8.5. Still launches high though, but I almost always out drive everyone at my club regardless of what driver they use, unless I hit a shocker!
I game the ST 190 and my fitter told me the Srixon is a real good driver and seller for him. Can't go wrong with either. I love my ST 190.
i tested a bunch of irons you name it i tried it and the best ones in my opinion were Apex pro callaway and Srixon 785 and 585 both were excellent. P790 was nice too but it makes you hit a power draw . and goes too far. I’m very interested in the drivers by mizuno and srixon . I think srixon is the most underrated golf company in history along with Lynx . T100 irons were great too as were the T200
Mayazaki are a great shaft, best feel ever !
Mizuno has an unreal sweet spot on the high toe that feels so awful when you hit it (club almost turns out of your hand) but the result is a nice high draw that literally goes forever. I LOVE MINE!
Mizuno really stepped up with their woods ...it is that I already had a TS3 driver and wood 3 before Mizuno launched their woods but otherwise the Mizuno’s could have easily been in my bag....and that for a lower price😇
Srixon makes some really nice looking clubs, but not much for lefty
I think Srixon are the most underrated golf company out there
I play the ST190 because if gave me better distance off low strikes compared to my TS3.
how is Lester getting 298 yards on average from a 160 mph ball speed? I have 155-160mph and my drives are rarely more than 290 yds...
Srixon is a very under rated brand I play there irons and they are mint
Interested as to why you don't stock either of these? I understand you cannot stock everything more interested in how you make your choice?
With the CG in different locations in the head, does this change in MOI effect the ability to shape shots? Is that stuff testable?
Big hitter, nice comparison.
I betcha Mark could carry both of them 262
I would play either one just send me one.
Will you ever go back to ballybunion golf course ireland
Refreshing !!
Got your pay rise, now doing club reviews and next you will be wanting Mark to take you to the Masters !
Cheaper and equal performance, so more ‘bang for the buck’ 😀
I hated the Mizuno driver, bought the 180 and 190 then quickly sold them
We all love an underdog right ?
I must be the only one, but I think the Srixon looks super cheap while the Mizuno looks super classy.
The Srixon is in the pro shop at Letchworth. They ooze quality in real life when you pick it up for yourself, it feels expensive.
Interesting dispersion mince 😂😂😂
Mince overload
How about you start stocking them in your shop, then perhaps they won't be such underdogs?
🙈 wow
Mark Crossfield not having a crack, it’s a genuine question. If they’re “as good as anything else in this shop” and cheaper, why wouldn’t you?
Cameron Loveless because what you stock comes down to many factors. 👍
Tensei is pronounced ten-say
Watch out...lestaaarrrsssss about.....bumf....clubs gone 😂
spoiler alert......at amateur level they are all the same. Buy a 5 year old Mizuno or Srixon from Ebay for £50 and it will be great.
Pink Castle Tees!
