    Thanks for this video Payton! I have been binge watching your videos lately. You asked at the end of this video "what's your biggest hesitation? Whats holding you back". For me, it's confidence. I understand a lot of that comes from within. However, I never went to college for website developement or anything related. I self-taught myself Wordpress and everything I know about the industry from videos like yours. I have a few clients under my belt (family and friends). I live in a small town and very rural atmosphere. How do I prove how valuable SEO is to companies/clients that may have a small budget (or perhaps no budget at all) for things like digital marketing? You made the comment in this video that being the SEO expert in your small town could be a great opportunity, that clicked with me. But I need a way to prove to them that I (and my SEO/website skills) are worth their investment. Hope that made sense, sorry for the long paragraph comment ha!

      First off, thank you so much for watching and for this awesome comment. So many great questions in here. I felt exactly the same way as you when I started and so much of it just comes down to that confidence. I found that my confidence in selling SEO services and convincing people that they were worth their money just came over time as I slowly found clients that were willing to give me a shot. After a while, you start to see the results and it becomes much easier to confidently look your prospects in the eyes and say this is going to be the best investment you can make for your business. At first, I was so hesitant to charge more than a few hundred bucks a month and even then my clients seemed mostly unwilling to commit to anything more expensive or more long-term, but now as my confidence and experience has increased I am blown away at how many people are willing to spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars every month because they trust me and my process. So this may not be the answer you were looking for but I would just say right now your biggest priority is just to start. Start with whatever clients you can at whatever budget they are willing to spend and just start getting better and better at providing results. The bigger clients will come and eventually you will find yourself in a position where people are seeking you out to hire you and they are already convinced of the value you provide. I don’t remember the last time someone asked me if SEO really works or if it’s really necessary or effective, at this point people can look at my past work or watch my videos and they just know that it is. So hopefully it puts you at ease knowing that it only gets easier and after years of doing this, my first three clients were by far the hardest to land and deliver results. Hang in there and best of luck!

    Hi Payton, What do you do about not getting flagged as spam when you were sending those customized videos on Loom? I am guessing you didn't have their consent before sending it to them. Was it just a standard email or was it a formatted email with your logo etc? thanks for the great videos!

    • @webrefreshseoagency7619
      @webrefreshseoagency7619 2 роки тому

      1. You have to make sure you start slow and get a few responses before you scale up your outreach.
      2. The email needs to add value (custom emails will really help)
      3. As a general rule, it’s probably a good idea not to send more than 20/day just to try and avoid getting flagged on any spam lists
