Hi! The frying powder is a mixture of flours that usually makes fried foods crispier. Also called Tempura flour or frying Mix. It's slightly different from all-purpose flour, but a similar effect can be achieved by adding starch powder. Mix soft flour and potato starch in a 3:1 ratio. And just add a little salt. If you use cornmeal in place of the frying powder... well, I don't know because I haven't tried it, but I don't think it will frying well. Good luck! 😋
Hi, In general, fried foods can be frozen for about 1-3 months to maintain their best freshness and flavor. However, for tempura using milk, the freezing and thawing process can degrade the quality of the food and change the texture and flavor of the tempura, so I recommend that you do not freeze it and consume it as soon as possible. If you absolutely must freeze them, you can use water instead of milk, which won't make much difference to the overall flavor. Thanks!!
it was so good for me but garlic was a little too much for me. it made me dizzy in the head and got me sweating😄 but its really delicious and you got a new subscriber
Hey, I'm really sorry about that. Actually, Koreans love garlic, so almost every dish includes it. If you cut the amount of garlic in the recipe by half, it shouldn't make a big difference in the flavor. Next time you cook, try using less garlic and make sure to cook the sauce thoroughly in the pan; that should mellow out the strong taste. Thanks for subscribing! If there's any Korean dish you're curious about, let me know, and I'll consider it for a future video. 😍😍😍

Hi!! Frying powder is similar to corn starch, but slightly different. It's a potato or corn starchy with more normal flour, plus salt, pepper, and other ingredients to give it a crispiness and a salty flavor when frying. I didn't realize that this is a common word in Korea and Asia, but not in Europe, sorry. Watch one of my video for more details. :) ua-cam.com/video/ZxvLBxzLEek/v-deo.html

I really like it, and the Korean people around me are surprised when they try it because it's so good. Thank you for the nice comment. Have a great day.
The milk's job is to help seasonings like salt baste the meat evenly, and to make the meat slightly more tender. Milk is not a big part of the flavor, so it's a good idea to add it, but if you don't have milk, water will work just as well. You can use any type of milk, I used regular milk with 3.5% fat, thanks!!
That's a no no! Starch syrup is like honey, and vegetable oil is not a substitute. If you have a sweet, sticky liquid that resembles honey, use that. 🤔
When I fry chicken, it is always brown on the outside, but on the inside it is not cooked enough? I cannot keep it in oil because it burns from the outside. How do I solve this problem? and thank u💖
The number one reason for burning on the outside and undercooking on the inside is that the oil is too hot. If you're planning on cooking for a long period of time, buy an inexpensive infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of your oil and you'll never go wrong. The ideal temperature for frying oil is around 170 degrees. Also, if the meat is too thick, it will not cook through. In particular, if you fry thick chicken legs with bones, it is difficult to cook the meat well... In that case, if you make several cuts in the thick part of the meat, it will cook well to the inside. If you fry the chicken breast small like in the video, it will cook well in 3-4 minutes if the oil temperature is right. If you have any questions while cooking, please comment again. Good luck! 😍🥰😍🥰
Hi, My daughter is a Korean with a German palate who grew up in Germany and she says it's not spicy, but it depends on the person. It's spicy, but it's also sweet and sour from the sugar and ketchup, so it's not too spicy for some people. If you're afraid of the spiciness, try making the sauce without the chili powder, and add a little bit and see how it tastes. Good luck. :)

It's slightly different from all-purpose flour, but a similar effect can be achieved by adding starch powder. Mix soft flour and potato starch in a 3:1 ratio. And just add a little salt. About 2% of the total amount of salt is sufficient.
If you'd like to substitute cornmeal for the flour, use a 1:1 mix of cornmeal and starch flour. If you use cornmeal in place of the frying powder... well, I don't know because I haven't tried it, but I don't think it will frying well. Good luck! 😋
@@dinnerprep Ok thanks for the help
How many days it can last frozen? Since it has milk in it? Thanks
Thanks!!
Thank you for the detailed answer.. 😘
it was so good for me but garlic was a little too much for me. it made me dizzy in the head and got me sweating😄 but its really delicious and you got a new subscriber
Where can i find the starch syrup..i will cook this coz i love this so much..thank you for sharing🥰
Hi, I don't know what country you live in, so it's hard to give you a definitive answer... I wrote corn syrup, but any kind of sticky liquid that tastes sweet like honey will work. For example, honey, agave syrup, golden syrup, maple syrup, etc. I hope you succeed. Thank you! 👍
What is frying powder? In UK we are not familiar this term, is it corn starch?

Can you plzz tell me what kind of curry powder is this? In India we have various kinds of curry powder so I'm confused...
ha ha ha. I forgot that there are so many curry powders out there. sorry. But don't worry too much. Curry powder is used in very small amounts and does not significantly affect the overall taste. That's why I think you can add the spices you use best and like. Thanks!!!

Can we use any other veg substitute instead of chicken
Plant-based chicken is also very tasty when fried. I often buy vegan chicken tenders for myself, too. Enjoy. I'm very interested in vegan cooking, so I'm working on it. Thank you. 😀

What can I substitute with Korean red pepper paste?
If you don't have gochujang (Korean red pepper paste), use 1T chili powder instead. If it's not sweet enough, you can add more sugar. 😀

Hello what kind of milk did you use?
The milk's job is to help seasonings like salt baste the meat evenly, and to make the meat slightly more tender. Milk is not a big part of the flavor, so it's a good idea to add it, but if you don't have milk, water will work just as well. You can use any type of milk, I used regular milk with 3.5% fat, thanks!!
Can I use vegetable oil instead of that sticky waterlike thing ?
That's a no no! Starch syrup is like honey, and vegetable oil is not a substitute. If you have a sweet, sticky liquid that resembles honey, use that. 🤔
@@dinnerprep CAn I make this ? The starch syrup
Yes, you can definitely make it, there are plenty of recipes on the internet and on UA-cam. I hope you succeed :)

Good luck! 😍🥰😍🥰

Is it spicy? Please I really wanna try to cook it, and I'm thinking of sharing it to my family, so I hope it's not that spicy.
Good luck. :)
I am very much greatful for your immediate response. If you say so, then I think my family will love it too. Thank you!
