    Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!

    Enjoying your post. Where would I go to find a POD company that will consider an entirely new product that isn’t on the market yet but that has huge possible POD potential?

    About content creation strategies for IG, where do you get your content exactly? I have a product focused store with multiple niches. Do you recommend getting content by searching online for blog posts related to your niches, do you scout IG itself and post of share content from other accounts (and if you do that, do you need to ask permission first and/or tag them?). Please let us know a brief list of the best sources that you use to find relevant content for your IG pages.
    Thanks, Joe! As always, your UA-cam videos are super informative! 😊

    Should you deal with any store/brand name trademark stuff in early stages?

    • @Tawny593
      @Tawny593 Рік тому +2

      I'll answer from experience: No.
      The trademark office is picky about giving trademarks. You must be actively selling what you want trademarked, have package designs and fully functional websites/stores (they check). Even then they may not give it to you for various reasons. They love to deny trademark applications.
      Better to focus your time setting things up, getting marketing going and then work on trademark applications after having a consult with a trademark attorney.

    Hi, great video. I have been dragging my feet on this because it is a bit overwhelming. This video of yours has helped set something in perspective. Now I would like to talk more. I heard you say you do coaching..? Now I have a small local brand that has done well. I have talked a lot to people online and they have asked me to build a store. I'm not too savvy with the online stuff. I'm very coachable. I have common sense as well. Is there a way to speak off this platform? I have asked this before and I never got a reply or I don't know how to get a reply. Not from you but from other creators. Took some notes from this video and will implement them. Would like to dig deeper with you if that is posable. Thanks again for doing what you do and have a great day.

    But what about copy-right? I mean if you start promoting your designs before you even launch your business, dont you run the risk of your designs being stolen by others? Social Media is nice but you should also consider the downsides of doing so..

    • @RealJoeRobert
      @RealJoeRobert  6 місяців тому

      What do you mean by what about copyright did you mean to say trademark? Wouldn’t people copying you be something that could happen no matter where you were selling? My basic view on it is that it is a necessary risk that we take in order to pursue running a print on demand store, that other people could potentially copy us it hasn’t been something that has affected me significant way though

    Your videos have helped me a lot, I like how you get straight to the point and also show the difficulties in a realistic way. But now I have a big question. I have more than 200k followers ( Instagram + TikTok), my niche is very specific, Aliens. I produce 3D animations. And I saw in that an opportunity to create a store, something I always wanted to do and finally I did. And my last two weeks have been like this, I set up a Shopify store following all the guidelines you gave in other videos, I bought a domain for the store, I solved all the shipping, payment, policies, in addition to the technical part of setting everything up, domain and redirects, google analytics, etc. It's a lot of work, almost done! And now comes the social media part and this is where I have my question: should I start a profile from scratch on Instagram or take advantage of my current profile, which has around 116k followers? Because I don't know if mixing the store with the services I do and offer in the current profile is ok. And if I have to create another Instagram profile, how can I get my followers to this profile? Soon I will need to invest in ads and I want to do it the best way. Thanks once again for your great content!

      Hi, just sharing my opinion with you. I think creating a new page would be best, and you can use your original Instagram to bring in traffic to the new account. If your followers like you, a lot of them would go support the new one. Eventually the new one can bring in its own traffic with tags and engagement :) Best of luck!

    • @terramidia3d

      @@vaneesssaR95 You're right! I've been thinking a lot about it and decided to create another IG profile and keep it as a separate business. This could confuse and even upset some followers. I really appreciated your help, thank you.
