Definitely go for the blue. The red makes feel too stressed like being on the starting grid of a Moto GP. I like all the accessories. Helmet reminds me of the Shrike creature ( a very spiky punky heado) in the Dan Simmons Hyperion books. A chair would be nice for the bike- cave to sit and admire your Diavel P/Frau from. Is the rear rim on the Rocket the same width? Lean angle impressive but Rocket has shaft drive, brute power. I'll have to see if P/Frau have an agent in Australia -thanks.
Nice, Diavel/XDiavel definitely feel way down on low-mid torque compared to Rocket, but faster mid-top, you do have to rev out the Diavel much more.. main reason Diavel faster over quarter mile is because the Rocket is limited in 5th-6th and throttle limited to 70% in first 3 gears. Rocket is faster than Diavel to a ton: It is heavier, like a brick aero wise and just runs out of revs quicker, but be interesting if same applies when Rocket has shift assist. Delimited Rockets are savage. 😎 Yet, still such similar bikes to ride, I like the black-red option here Bob but I think Diavel must be getting closer to a new model or update on Diavel, 🤔 which isn’t as good looking as XD but rides better. Either way 25k is steep imo when you can have an old Diavel Carbon for so much less. 🤔 and the Rocket is still more unique/special on road: 🤷♂️

Motobob, I gave you like for content, but please, may you consider to remove the thunder and rumble from the soundtrack next time? I guess on PC speakers in doesn't matter but on a decent stereo or headphones, it's unbearable.
I've ordered the green seat. I think the Green-Black-Red is a nice nod to the Italian flag, and given 450 of the 500 ordered will probably have red seats, mine will be unique. 😂
Frankly, Ducati should concentrate on different colour schemes for their entire range. Not this, wringing blood out of the special edition Diavel stone. KTM pulled a better one with the Brabus collaboration. I'd like to see other colours, like the Ducati yellow of the 916, or the mint blue of the Smart Sports Classic, make a return.
It’s not a cruiser, Ducati has never official classed it as a cruiser. This is why you are always saying - ‘The xDiavel is unlike other cruisers’. That because it isn’t.
I am never a big fan of Italian vehicles because they place esthetics above reliability and practicality. In that category, I prefer the the Rocket 3 Black edition even if it's 70lbs heavier. Cheers Bob!

Being a Ducati owner, 90 degrees makes it, according to them, an L twin not V - I'm being picky but that's what sets them apart from most bikes. Always love the styling, too much tech now, Riders never needed ABS braking before, so why now? (not just Ducati) - maybe future GPS speed control? 🤔
I get realy baffled about those people buying these complete ripp offs off limited edition bikes from Ducati. You are paying 5k more for a bike with red leather seat and some coloured metal pieces. That demands a special kind off stupid people that somehow got the money to buy a bike for 30k.
When it came.I fell in love and bought one and I got so pissed that I sold it after clocking 2000 kms. Why? The riding position was made for poseurs in the US. The dumb asses who pretend to look cool but after half a day of ride have to go to their chiropractor to have their back fixed. The feet forward is an ergonomical nonsense. Top that stupidity you get really cheap suspensions and they feel even cheaper when you know the sticker price of the bike. The rear sus is harsh and the forks dive way too much when you brake hard. Now they put mid controls and new paint on this "NEW" one but they kept the penny saving suspension set up. Stay away from it.
Apart from the paint I really don't know why you would. Buy a normal diavel and have the seat recovered.... waste of time and money.... furniture specialist? How bleedin random is that!
Pointless… pointless toy for rich kids. And to be frank I always thought this front wheel is to small and thin for this bike. That’s why rocket from triumph looks so much better.

Does it come with a bike cover? The individual pieces look pretty good but when I see the bike in totality....well needs a bike cover.
