My husband and I adored your Santa Fe Plaza video. We like to go back through video when we can’t be there and this video hit the spot right on! You don’t zip or bounce through your walk through, it’s not rushed. Nice, slow and calm with enough time to take in what you are describing. You’ve even pointed out a few spots we have missed and plan on visiting on our next trip. Well researched and informative. You’re very good at this. Thanks so much and keep up the great work. Looking forward to your other videos. Safe travels! 😊😊😊
Santa Fe is lovely. I love the bag lights. Lots of crafty shopping too.Galleries and Museum, so much to see and do. 7:32 loving the architecture. That wooden staircase in the LORETTO Church looks amazing. San Miguel Chapel is beautiful. Especially the ceiling. Some of those old buildings have stood the test of time, amazing. Beautiful Basilica of St James of Assisi. Looks like a heavy Catholic presence in this lovely old town. Beautiful interior of the Basilica. I love the sculpture 15:15 Amazing old ADOBE buildings. I have thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Looks like there are plenty of good eateries. Thank you for all the history that came with the tour. Look forward to the next adventure. Have a great week Miss Martini and regards to Mr Martini.
@@ColoradoMartini thank you sweetie I can't wait it'll be awesome saw your two videos on the snow oh my goodness I want to see any glue or a snowman what do you think LoL. I love the Santa Fe trail I read a whole book about it it was awesome
Yeah did you see the last one when Patrick is digging out for the dog to go to the bathroom. There's like over 3 ft of snow. In a 24-hour. I always turn my comments off on my shorts. Just so they don't take away from my main videos. I've been gathering footage every time I go to New Mexico on the Santa Fe Trail. Got almost enough to do a video on it. Right now I'm also working on the New Mexico Harvey houses. I think you're really going to enjoy that one. every time I'm putting the footage together I always think to myself Rose is going to like this lol
Oh my goodness thank you so much I enjoyed the tour the buildings are magnificent the church was awesome. And the food well all I can say is yummy 🤣💞💕👍👍👍👍
I have not ever been to Santa Fe, New Mexico, but I see I have truly missed out. The buildings and history alone was good, then you went to the meat and potatoes... Authentic Mexican food Yum! I was good with all of it until the hominy, not a fan. Oh I love the idea of the Christmas on the side to control the heat! Yummy hot sopapillas... oozing with honey 🤤! Definitely going to have to go sometime! Thank you for sharing. Safe travels and adventures. ✌💜🤗
That's absolutely beautiful and again thank you for the history. You go to amazing places I'd like to be a little fly on top of your vehicle just watching and seeing what you see. Thank you so much for sharing sweetie God bless you both be safe on your travels 💞💗💕👍👍👍👍
Looks like a very fun road trip, I have been to New Mexico once a long time ago it was nice for what I remember , I need to go back it has been years. I love all the venders.
A very nice tour around Santa Fe. Never realized that the luminarias are sold as a set of Christmas lights. That is so cool. I always remembered them as the bag with the sand and candle inside and that is what I thought of when I saw them on top of the buildings. Interesting about the blue in the doorways. We never knew that. Nice video.
I love those bags. The one thing about the paper bags is they can't catch on fire and they blow out. With these you don't have to worry about it. A lot of people don't know about the blue in the window. Something that they've done for a long time. In many cultures
Santa Fe is a great place to visit. I was there a few years ago. Thank you for bringing back some great memories. Loved the musical accompaniment. The straw in the adobe was really cool. Good eye. So many beautiful churches. 👍#75

Oh what a DELIGHTFUL tour of Santa Fe! I enjoyed this a lot - even after just being there a few days ago! Thank you, Mrs. Martini for sharing your powerful memories (like in front of the Basilica! Moving!)! From the ristras to the luminarias to the Loretto Cha[el, and of course, the AMAZING Basilica - you absolutely dazzled us with the enchanting magic of where I call home! Not only do we see some captivating scenes of our rich culture and history, you brilliantly explained the stories and customs we have here! This wasn't just a glazed over presentation of a remarkable site! You informed, you presented charmingly; but most important, you made it possible for a viewer to FEEL and EXPERIENCE New Mexico at it's finest! This is why I call this place home! GREAT job, guys! I hope, one day we can get a margarita together!
Very informative. Thank you. I’m headed to NM in early November, including Santa Fe, and couldn’t be more excited. Your vid only increased my anticipation. I’ll have Christmas on the side!
Now I'm starving. Good thing it's supper time! I just have to cook it. lol. Those churches looked so beautiful and the ceiling beams are amazing and almost like-new looking. The straw in the adobe mystifies me as how it's lasted this long when more modern materials almost can't last a decade! lol. Very cool guide to Santa Fe. My co-worker in Yuma, AZ was born there and has now moved back. She missed it and now I can see why. I've only driven through it on an emergency road trip home to TN from AZ, but someday I hope to attend one of their bead shows. Beautiful video. Sparkle on!
You know this is my kind of video! Such an interesting place with history and architecture and even Billy the Kid. Love the Hanukkah celebrations. Another great video.
That is a wonderful tour of Santa Fe. Never been there before. I only went pass New Mexico in a Semi Truck a long time ago. I like the Four Corners but if I were to go somehwere, I would like to see the Grand Canyon and the National Parks in Utah. I mean everywhere in the Four Corners has a lot amazing sites. I like the White Sands in New Mexico. I can't wait to visit the Four Corners again

We've stopped in Santa Fe a couple times. We didn't do a ton of exploring. I see we, as usual, missed some stuff worthy of seeing. Love the chapel. And that cathedral is gorgeous! I do wish we would have had time to grab a bite to eat. I do know one thing about Santa Fe, the people were all very friendly both times we stopped.
We love it there. We're actually thinking of retiring in the area. I didn't even scratch the surface of the things to see in Santa Fe. More videos to come. on Saturday we will be putting out a video on one of the iconic hotels on the plaza. The food there is out of this world. The la Fonda is one of my favorites
Thank you so much. I always turn off the comments on my Shorts. I just don't want them to take away from my main videos. Thank you so much for coming by
There was a lot of useful information in this video. Glad to see some of your old stomping grounds. I cant wait to try some of these dishes. Would you recommend staying in the plaza area or slightly outside of the main area? We absolutely love the adobe structures in the southwest, so this will awe inspiring.
Very good information. Thank you. I'm planning on visiting Santa Fe in November and prepare video for my channel. You provided very informative information. Thanks again.

I was going to add the other hotels in next week's video. But I had so much on the LaFonda that it got its own video. It's a very historic place. Was once a Harvey house hotel. I love the la Fonda. Because of its history.
Loved this video, Mrs. M! I am in love with Santa Fe and was so sad we had to miss it last year due to covid and having to get back to Canada months earlier than we'd planned. We were last there in 2017, which was also our youngest kiddos last trip south with us. I bought one of the chile ristra and it hung in my kitchen at home reminding me of our time there. Then, a nasty pack rat invaded the house a couple of years ago while were away and ate the thing!!! So, I simply MUST return to Santa Fe to get a new one! Good excuse, hey!- Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
Sweet as Sugar sent me. Pretty good video, I'm a native, so usually don't watch these, but you did a good job. My brother sells black pottery on the plaza, our Great-grandmother is Maria Martinez. And the answer - for me Green!
That was so sweet of her. I am so pleased as a local you enjoyed it. I love the black pottery. I love the shade of black of that clay. We will be doing the La Fonda next Saturday
I wish I stayed there a little longer. We only made a quick stop to eat while visiting Carlsbad from Albuquerque, NM. One thing I do remember going to NM was seeing all those Chili's hanging. Oh man, look at all the cool vendors there!!!! Such a pretty area over there for sure. How long did you live in Santa Fe?
Excellent video - so much history and you really brought the City's story to life. It got me curious about Billy The Kid and I was amused by the story where Sheriff Pat Garrett finally brought Billy the Kid in to stand trial. The judge sentenced him to hang until “you are dead, dead, dead.” Billy, never being one to be outdone, replied... “And you can go to hell, hell, hell.” ~Michael
we love everything about Billy. We actually have a video on visiting his grave. You can find it in our New Mexico playlist. We will also be putting one out on a Lincoln New Mexico

That was so sweet of her. I am so pleased as a local you enjoyed it. I love the black pottery. I love the shade of black of that clay. We will be doing the La Fonda next Saturday
Great! beautiful trip grettings ❤️
Thank you so much
Billy the Kid is one of the favorite outlaws along with Black Bart. 💯🎭

Hi my friend i loved walk with you,new friend and support stay tach👍🔔🎁
So glad you enjoy it.
We lived there for a short time when Mr. Martini worked in the oil fields. We are hoping to go back and retire there.
I've never been to Santa Fe, New Mexico but your video made me feel like I was there. Wonderful tour! I learned A lot! Thanks for sharing! :)
I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. You would love it there. It's a wonderful place to visit
Wow! 2nd oldest city in USA!!
Yep. Jamestown always gets the credit. But St Augustine and Santa Fe are the oldest.
You had me at sopapilla. Haven't had one in over 20 years.
LOL. My fave
Great video, we suppose to do qn epxi road trip, and this place was on the way..but didn't. Now experience it through your video

This seems like it was a lot of fun! The food looks really good :)
Oh my god it's so good
Excellent video - so much history and you really brought the City's story to life.
Also thank you so much for coming to our premiere this morning.
Love
