The group is a German metal band, the song is essentially about a man who is un-loyal to his wife, I theorize it’s probably because the man is afraid of commitment and being tied down, as well “Du Hast Vicc” translates roughly to “You have me”

Well it is kind of both. He sings „Du - Du hast - Du hast mich“ which sounds like „You - You hate - You hate me“ but when he finishes the sentence „Du hast mich - Du hast mich gefragt“ it turns into „You have asked me“.
If you look up the lyrics it says „You have“ always, because he always writes „Du hast“ with one „s“. But because of its sound it has this double meaning.

Literally, "Du hast (mich)..." means "You have (me)", which makes no sense whatsoever of course in English with the me, also not for the German listener at the beginning because you'd ask yourself "What is it that I have done?". This is cleared out at the final part of the sentence "Du hast mich gefragt", which means "You asked me", which then makes sense in English. However, as others pointed out, "Du hast" can also be understood in German as "Du hasst (mich)", as he deliberately pronounces it in the way that it can be understood as hasst instead of hast, which then means "You hate (me)". However, it wouldn't change the topic of the song at all as that translation also fits to its topic. The question that was asked, which is the refrain of the song, is basically the question a priest asks you when you marry your SO "will you love her and take care of her and stay faithful till death parts you", or however it is usually said in English, to which he replies "No". That is the whole translation. Enjoy!

These are the lyrics in English you are welcome.
You, you hate, you hate me
You, you hate, you hate me
You, you hate, you hate me
You, you hate, you hate me
You, you hate, you hate me, you hate me
You hate me to say, you hate me to say
You hate me to say and I did not obey.
Will you until death does sever
    Be upright to her forever?
    Never, never
Will you until death does sever
    Be upright to her forever?
    Never, never
Du, du hast, du hast mich
Du, du hast, du hast mich
Du, du hast, du hast mich, du hast mich
Du hast mich gefragt, du hast mich gefragt
Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab' nichts gesagt
Will you until death does sever
    Be upright to her forever?
    Never, never
Will you 'til death be her rider
Her lover too, to stay inside her?
    Never, never
Will you until death does sever
    Be upright?
    Never, never

The fusion of electronic music and metal is "Industrial" Which Rammstein is probably the one of and if not the main player in ALL of industrial because of their location and being in that particular scene and of course how hard they go, I'm sure someone already said that this is Industrial, but yeah. This song makes me drink my rum faster. One of my favorite genres because it reminds me of my myspace and vampirefreaks days. And Rammstein is among the best. Has me singing in german that I don't even know. 😂

rammstein guitar riffs are had the most "chainsaw" vibe in the rock music. Super agressive, super raw but so goddamn clean and accurate in the same time... It's hard to explain , but everytime i had a rammstern song in a radio, or on my player i cannot think about chainsaws :D

German industrial metal. Interesting historical note about the band, they all met working in an East German factory before the end of the Cold War. After the Berlin Wall fell, they started playing that sort of music in the West and became popular.
