Naw Brodie Rammstein isn’t fake. Their live shows are really like that. No artist or massive festival could touch them dudes live. Their production is unmatched. You should really research some of their shows from this year. Insane.
Not fake at all! An incident in September 1996 caused a section of the band's set to burn, and as a result, Lindemann got his certification in pyrotechnics so the band could perform with pyrotechnics more safely than it had previously.

Fireworks are very real at Rammstein concerts. Anything that catches on fire they play with it live. Singer Till Lindeman is a certified pyrotechician and the rest of the band members are well versed in this field as well. They get personal with their fireworks so much so that they have to be covered by a fire retardant gel which looks alot like blood. They're phenomenal musicians.
The most entertaining metal band live that you can see. I suggest to check their other live videos also, so you might get suprised how much little details, flames, explosions etc. you can find their live shows. :)

Extreme showmanship from this German band. If you have watched the first xXx movie with Vin Deisel it starts with Rammstein playing in the club. They are masters of pyrotechnics and get personal with them. The dude on the treadmill gets his cardio work in for sure...LOL!

The flames are not fake. Espacially with the "firework-gun" He shoot it in real the firekworks in the hall.
But the fans dont worry about this because Till Lindemann "Frontsinger" is learned by Pyrotechnician.
They used a lot of pyrotechnic in their shows. If you make more reactions about this band by the liveshows, then you know what i mean ;-)

Words can't describe the level of epic that is seeing Rammstein live. If you're only just now getting interested and seeing Du Hast, you need to at least check out Mutter, Links, or Engel.

R+ is my all time favorite , and yes it's most definitely real, this is not just a band these guys are entertainers extraordinaire, they don't just do concerts they put on a spectacular visual and auditory performance. Hands down Best Live Band Ever!
I will never tire of watching people discovering Rammstein ... they are THE whole package.
First, YES, the keyboard playre in on a treadmill for the whole shows, and he walks or runs roughly 17 miles during each performance. He's both the focal point and the counterpoint of the rest of the band.
Second, YES, those are real fireworks : Till, the lead singer is a Certified Artificer (meaning he builds his pyrothenics himself), and all band member are Certified Pyrotechnicians that are trained to place and use those fireworks.
The lyrics for this song are actually "'wedding vows", but with a couple of twists : "Du hast mich" means "You have me", BUT if you enunciate an S and a half in the middle of that word, plus context, it can also mean "You hate me".
The whole song is basically "You have me/You hate me until death does us part", with a "ja" (yes) when the flames go up and a "nein" (no) when the flames go down.
And since they are all Certified and Trained Pyrotechicians, ALL their live shows are like that. The ONLY thing that was added in that Director's Cut is the lightning effect on the fingers of the keyboardists.
Before you ask it, they are legendary scene beasts, never break character while on stage, and YES, those fireworks (and so much more) did indeed fly in the US : Rammstein did an USA Tour, and their concert at Madison Square Garden was SOLD OUT IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES.
When they announced their last European tour, ALL places for ALL concerts for TWO YEARS were sold out within an hour of the annoucement.
Cherry on top of this massive cake : they are a German band, from East Germany before the fall of the Iron Curtain, and they have been performing at that level of intensity for more than 30 years now, with each and every song having deep meaning, with several twists on words and double entendre everywhere.
After a career of more than 30 years, they have ONE song in english in their repertoire (Amerika, heh), and they still managed to have a huge impact worldwide.
Lastly, that video is from a live concert from Paris, in France, a country that Germany invaded twice and that harbors a century of resentment, if not more, against Germany and it's people.
And Rammstein can get a whole 15.000 French people willingly singing in German in 45 seconds.

Watched Rammstein a couple years ago in Copenhagen and it was unreal. Best production in a live performance ever.
Lead singer Till Lindemann is a certified Pyrotechnics specialist, plans every one of their down to a millisecond and plots out all their shows. They all look "oiled" up because they are coated from head to tow in flame resistant gel due to the intense heat and flame

i'm french, if you are shocked by this title live, then you are not ready for the rest hahahaha if you watch the full concert, it is not a concert but a big and brilliant pyrotechnic show. and what can we say about the "deutschland" clip, a production worthy of Hollywood when they still knew how to make good films ^^ this clip that you have just seen is also symbolic, a German group which makes French people sing along, if you know the history it’s quite a symbol. rammstein has no need for media or radio to be No. 1 in the hearts of Europeans; they have been filling theaters for over 20 years. watch XXX movies and how high you will hear this title:)

Till, the lead singer is a pyro technician. That's why their shows are on fire!!! 😉🔥The guy on the treadmill gets bored on stage when he doesn't play. He used to run around on a Segway, but crashed into Till. That's why he's on a treadmill now 😊

Lyrics of "Du hast" shortly explained:
The first three words are "Du hast mich" (you have me) which at that moment doesn't make any sense in German. But it sounds (intentionally) the same as "Du hasst mich" (you hate me). Later in the song, the first three words are extended to a full sentence: "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt." (You asked me and I did not answer.) And then, to show what he was asked, the chorus is a wedding vow: "Willst Du bis der Tod euch scheidet treu ihr sein für alle Tage?" (Do you want to be faithful to her for all days until death do us part?) This is answered first by a kind of female voice "Ja" (yes) and afterwards by Till's harsh voice "Nein!" (No!). These - plus a slightly obscene word play on the wedding vow, that I will not explain here - are the whole lyrics (repeated a few times).
As mentioned in the "making of" of that song it's about the connection within the band. They never had a line-up change since their start in 1994. The lead gitarrist once said, the band is like a marriage without sex.

I turned 50 last year and finally got to see these guys live (bucket list type thing). My wife shelled out $700 to put me 5 rows back. And my man, all that @#$%is REAL. Ain't not a rap or R&B show out there that comes close to the stage show of these guys

You definitely need to go to a Rammstein show! I got to see them in LA 2022 and it was the BEST show ever! And I can confirm the cannon is real and the fireworks DO come back to the stage and explode like you see in the video! They are masters of pyrotechnics and I had the honor of sweating it out near the stage in the Feuerzone 🔥! Go if you get the chance! It’s life changing 😃

Du hast means you have, but du hasst means you hate, both have the same sound.
1) This is as far as i know the only band that puts on a show so bright that it can be seen from space.
2) A while back one of the band members got burned at a show soTill Lindeman, the lead singer got trained as a professional pyrotechnician.

Edit: 4) Yes he is on a treadmill! The keyboardist, Christian "Flake" Lorenz, has answered why he does that actually. Apparently it is a combination of energy and nerves. He has too much energy and doesn't feel comfortable just standing there playing keys every so often on stage. So it lets him burn energy and keep focused.

lmao i wonder how this song translates in english to see how it sounds with the beat and all - I was stationed in germany and they played this song a bit in the clubs I would go to, funny enough I felt like most germans loved the karaoke bars the most and listened to mostly american music around the nurmberg area.. at least i remember the better times/vibes at those karaoke bars...walk right out the bar and a red light district is on the same street lmao - at first it was a cultural shock, but I got use to it lol

That was Paris, at MSG they wouldn't let them do the full on pyro show, it was semi-tame, we only had a peak of 120(?) or so in the mosh for an hour. LOL
Rammstein is a German band. Despite how agressive and militaristic, at times, they might sound (thankfuly because i do love me some Metal) , their message is really solid, nuanced and progressive! Their shows are simply some of the very best (at least in Europe, dunno about US restrictions) and they are one of the very best bands in the past 20/30 years!
