Having many gags or representations being non suitable for the restaurant, they were dropped. Seen this restaurant (Forgot its name, but found it in a mall) had a red woodpecker/robin as its mascot, but I never seen that character in commercials. It means he was just supposed to be there for that ad series. Kids were into superheroes at the time and they put POW in to market that. When I mean superheroes mostly Superman and Shazam.
Actually the powerpuff girls in the original show DID have a fourth power puff girl, aka Bunny. Who sadly died in the same episode she was introduced, They just randomly decided to add this new random power puff girl instead of Bunny in the reboot. Which i mean if they added Bunny with a new redesign i woukd be fine with it, because that character was already established in the og.
Oh, and Cookie Crisp had a wizard that was later replaced by a burglar, a cop and a dog, and then just the dog became the mascot before being replaced by a wolf
