This feels like if Godzilla was in one of those weight loss commercials where they make the person wear a fatsuit of what they used to look like. I guarantee that no child is going to go to the effort of putting that skin suit back on. They're either gonna throw it out or lose it in the bottom of their toy chest somewhere.
One thing that I really like about this toy is that when you pose it the skin just kind of stretches instead of having weird lines where the paint and scales that don't match up it gives a nice realistic effect
Watching you peel Godzilla's skin off reminds me of the scrapped Shin Godzilla concepts where Godzilla would have multiple heads or limbs growing out of him.
He still has a second head on the tip of his tail. You barely get to see it, but when he uses the beam from his tail, a jaw bone moves and there's most of a skull underneath.

This thing reminds me of the early 2000's when they did a whole line of Dragon Ball Z like this. You had Goku, Vegeta and all the others wearing rubber suits of themselves as Super Saiyans.
Yeah, it's my 63rd birthday today (I'm 13yo with 50 years world experience), and this was the one present my family got me. "Peeling the skin off" is just too Game of Thrones for my sensibilities so I prefer to think of it as Godzilla is wearing a rubber suit of himself, which is pretty hysterical when you recall that most of the Godzillas were actors in rubber suits. I've only half undone it and then put it back on cus I'm pretty certain I won't be able to do it well. Congrats on your redressing cus even their own commercial simply runs the removal in reverse!!

I can see that rubber outer skin drying off, flaking up, and cracking and crumbling to dust in like 3 years. What I'd want to see out of a Playmates line is this. They had this big container of TMNT figures, Green Army Man style. Little, unpainted characters from the Mutant Mayhem movie and strangely the 2012 cartoon. If they had a Monsterverse version of that with Kong, Godzilla, and all the rest. Even if they'd have duplicates of the same characters and molds (the TMNT one did), that would be pretty cool.
Also, Godzilla with the skin on looks like the Jada Toys silhouette that leaked online which made us think Godzilla would be more muscular than before.
I had two dinosaur toys that was like that Godzilla but instead had a skeleton version of it. One was a T.rex and the other was some kind of souropod or long neck dinosaur (it was not the braceasorus, if you were wondering it had something on the back of its neck.), and there were also some other dinosaurs as well.

hello MIB. I bought my own "Titan Evolution Godzilla" and i discovered that it's much easier to put the skin back on when theres a little bit water inside. so just put some water inside the rubber suit and then try transfoming it
