As someone who used to sing the Mothra song whilst watching Mothra Vs. Godzilla as a kid the end really hits home for me.

The amount of references in this book is astounding, the fact that the “Love cannot be contained” picture is Godzilla breaking out of an iceberg like in the original King Kong Vs Godzilla is so cool.
I really think that mechagodzilla should be called mecha goji in children’s books regardless of age. It’s just cuter and thus objectively better
