Can you imagine how terrifying MonsterVerse Godzilla would look to any remaining citizen in Tokyo after MinusGoji's attack? He's like 4 to 5 times MinusGoji's size.
He's waaaaaaay over Twice the Minus One's size, like look at this 0:44 Monsterverse Godzilla's one leg alone is bigger than Minus One's entire body. I guess that's what 70 meters of height difference does. Godzilla Minus One is about 20.000 tons, monsterverse Godzilla is like, 5 times bigger.
If the MonsterVerse Godzilla "despises" humans then how come he comes to rest inside of the temple from time to time which was specifically made by humans that worshipped him?
Another interesting scenario: what if Legendary encountered Minus One in its pre-irradiated form? He might view him as just a hatchling and might even raise him like a son.
@user-gz2nq4oq8f Some yes. Others not so much which would surprise some people. Showa, obviously, is benevolent by the end of his series. He wouldn't bow down but would at least try to keep things peaceful since they are the same species. Final Wars is not as aggro as many think. When faced with Anguirus, there seemed to be some communication between them, as if Godzilla was trying to reason with him. Also, he's the only Godzilla, with a vendetta against them, to forgive humanity. Earth & MV share a very similar role & since there was more than one Godzilla in Planet of Monsters, I'd say Earth is fine with other Godzillas. I don't know what you mean by inconsistency with Heisei.
1954 Gojira: wouldn’t submit, also wouldn’t provoke MV Godzilla. 1970’s Gojira: unlikely to submit but would prefer to keep the peace. Heisei Godzilla: wouldn’t submit, likely to attack and would definitely win with ease(but if MV Godzilla backs down, Heisei wouldn’t KILL MV Godzilla). Heisei Godzilla JR: wouldn’t submit, wouldn’t attack, would be acting dominant, probably provoking MV Godzilla. Outcome would be the same as Heisei Godzilla. 1998 Godzilla(Zilla): Would submit, most likely get injured heavily in a fight with MV Godzilla. Zilla JR: would eventually submit, unlikely to get injured in a fight. 2000 Godzilla: wouldn’t submit, would likely die in a fight. GMK Godzilla: Wouldn’t submit, would definitely die in a fight. Final Wars Godzilla: Would make MV Godzilla submit(throughout the movie, he takes out all of his allies non-lethally, proving he isn’t a cold blooded monster). Shin Godzilla: Doesn’t know what he is or what he’s doing, would most definitely die. Godzilla Filius: Would destroy MV Godzilla. Godzilla Earth: Would destroy MV Godzilla. Godzilla Singular Point: Would destroy MV Godzilla eventually.
I like how Minus One blasting Legendary Goji with his heat ray is the equivalent of beating someone with a chicken drumstick. Probably hurts if you hit the right spot, but won’t cause any serious harm and it’s also a free snack.
We don't even know if Legendary Goji can regenerate or not because he hasn't been hurt physically enough to warrant it. He took a powered up Kong Axe to the skull and just got up. That same axe was cutting Mechagoji to pieces. That's insane durability.
The axe never hit his face. The explosion from it reaching the source of the beam knocked them both back first. When the axe hit his leg, it pierced right into it no problem but Kong didn't put enough oomph into the swing so it got stuck.
Legendary Godzilla can regen. After he took a hit from the oxygen weapon he went down to his hidden lair to recover. Though his regen is not instant like previous versions he can still recover over time. They hit him with a nuke to charge him up speeding the regen process and size. Shin Godzilla would lose granted his size because he runs out of energy and moves way to slow.
He can regen and adapt and mutate. In fact what makes legendary unique is that in every film he comes back at least somewhat better than his last appearance. 2014’s atomic potency (ability to use atomic based attacks) was diminished due to the muto’s emp. In KOTM he’s not only larger, he also has new dorsal plates that are more reactive to his atomic energy. At the end of the film, he has grown even larger and his atomic potency was increased to new heights. There wasn’t a notable change in gvk mainly because Godzilla hadn’t truly needed to change since mother and the nuke did all the work
"True" as if legendary isn't fodder lol but anyway minus us only aggressive towards humans. If he met legendary he'd think it's apart of it'd species and would probably listen to the bigger kaiju but would still attack humans if they got close to it's home or passed by it

I like to think Legendary would not only spare, but Raise Minus 1. If he indeed saw minus 1 as a youngling, Legendary Might see the potential for a invaluable ally. We've seen his species can live together in harmony, and in Legendary's Eyes, Minus 1 is a youngling who doesn't know better. He MIGHT kill Minus later if Minus doesn't learn to curve his malice, but I like to think Legendary would give him that chance.
you seem to be a minus one fan but to be honest that kaiju does not have the brains to submit! minus 1 must leave the city and go with legendary to save its life
Imo legendary goji will spare him because he’s cute. But really it depends There’s a good chance goji will spare him because there might not be any gojira species left maybe legendary will teach him what he should do instead of just destroying.
The radiation is a non-issue when it comes to the titans from Legendary's monsterverse. Those titans eat or absorb radiation and nuclear energy for breakfast. We've seen them take nukes to the face as a cure all. It is also noted in the new Monarch show that areas that were heavily radiated become habitable or hospitable if there is titan activity nearby. If anything, Minus one provides sustenance to the titans. But minus one's abilities aren't entirely known even after the film. It can regenerate from practically nothing based on the ending and it grows in size and power after being attacked to surpass the threat, seemingly.
Godzilla Minus One is just a moving Chernobyl. He kills everything around him with only his presence and poisonous radiation. Legendary Monsters are more helpful to environment and not destroying it
Imagine the horror the survivors would be feeling. They were just attacked by Minus One, and then Legendary Godzilla, a Kaiju who's over twice the size of Minus One, shows up.
It depends, if this happened in the Minus One universe then yes. If this happened in Legendary monsterverse, then the people would more likely be relieved even if they still would need to vamoosh asap. Also the fallout would be reduced drasticly as Legendary simply absorbs all the fallout from minus one.
Personally, i think legendary wouldnt kill off minus one, if only because hes the only other gojira he's seen in a long time, i think legendary might even try to become some sort of parental figure to minus one, though thats assuming minus one can in fact grow bigger, and that minus ones aggression isnt so much that it refuses to bow down to legendary.
And another thing is he never really talked about Minus one's intelligence, cause he's smart enough to hold a grudge for years and so he'd probably be curious to see a larger and similar creature to him, making him think that he wasn't the only one of his kind to be mutated, cause remember Minus one was a godzillasaurus before he was a gojira
@@yeetimusprime8154 i mean, i dont think minus would attack heisei, he is literally himself but bigger, they have almost the same body, plus i think heisei eould be curious abput finding ANOTHER himself, not jr but another species
Legendary Godzilla would probably spare Minus one. Even if a titan poses a huge threat to Legendary (like Barbara), as long as they submit he’d let them live. The same would likely go for Minus One
Barbara is the last of her kind and it's speculated that she with can't reproduce or evolve into a Muto Prime so he let her live since she submitted to him.. otherwise, he'd kill her.
@@someguywithasword438 I think minus one would understand that this gojira is over twice his size, and that his atomic breathe aint even dangerous to bro
If we’re using the minus one from the film, minus one might bow, but knowing minus one’s aggressive nature, it might not happen. Edit: What I meant by the minus one from the film, was that Goji Center could have used a potentially larger and stronger minus one. I wrote the comment 40 seconds after the video released which is why I thought that could be the case. Also I know that minus one usually doesn’t go out of his way to attack humans. What I mean’t was that if you do mess with him, he can become quite hostile to the attacker, which is what I meant.

Out of all of the godzilla incarnations, minus one is just evil incarnate. His ability to NOT care about anyone but himself is just absolutely terrifying and his hatred towards humans is just astounding. So monsterverse Godzilla has every reason to kill minus one. Even though minus one is my favorite, monsterverse Godzilla is just one heck of BEAST.
I honestly think that if minus one Godzilla did submit to monsterverse Godzilla, then monsterverse Godzilla would spare him, especially if monsterverse Godzilla saw him as one of his own kind. Monsterverse Godzilla once spared a female muto that chose to submit during the events of king of the monsters 2019, not to mention that he spared tiamat who was a better aquatic opponent than himself and chose to submit after their battle, showing that Godzilla can spare opponents that can be potential threats.

Minus One's regeneration would be very difficult for Legendary to keep him down. but with Legendary's strength, size and experience, Minus One will see challenging him as torture because Legendary will just kill him again and again. That's what happened in Marvel Comics. DeadPool captured Wolverine and turned his regeneration abilities against him. DeadPool would light Logan on fire with a flame thrower until his flesh was melted down to the bone, and would do this again and again until Logan started losing his sanity from dying painfully so many times. EDIT: This also depends on if Minus One stays the same size he was in the movie. if he grows larger, Legendary will recognize this threat and take more drastic actions. he may even be forced to find a way to unlock the power he used to vaporize Ghidora to permanently end Minus One's regeneration.
After Godzilla Legendary see minus healing factor Is equal as ghidorah, he Will stomp minus untill he submit or shot Atomic ray untill minus is Totally vaporized
the problem is with every heat ray attack from minus one, Legendary will get stronger and stronger, so before minus one could even get strong enough, legendary would have vapourised him
As long as minus one did submit, I don't think legendary would kill him. Legendary forgave Rodan and that was after he attacked him and was partially responsible for the death of Mothra and from what I've seen in the comics, it does seem quite normal for the Titans to take shots at each other before submitting. But that also assuming minus 1is smart enough to figure out how legendary works
@@julienfranco7179 I think (?) Legendary saw Mothra's sting on Rodan and that got him p!ssed ... if Rodan didn't submit that instant he would have been hamburger.
I think the problem is more so that they are the same species in legendary Godzilla's eyes and that challenges his dominance so I could definitely see him just straight up eating him or something
Honestly depending on how truly intelligent Minus one is, it's a lil difficult on whether he's submit or what, like Minus one was lured away into a trap so his intelligence may not be so high really, plus he's got a bit of a temper towards humanity for attacking him and making him the way he is Also for like another "What if" Scenario, i kind wonder about what if the Castle Bravo nuke was actually on the island Pre-nuked Minus one would be and if Legendary would notice him before getting mutated and seeing reasoning behind nuking the area himself?
Legendary Godzilla would look at Minus One with surprise and curiosity, but ultimately would eliminate him at the end after sensing the potential threat in the future if he spares his life.
Yea only with melee attacks but not with atomic breath as G -1 too feed with radiation instead of burning to pieces those excess radiation will make him evolve. Knowing G -1 heat beam/atomic breath is like a living Nuclear in his baby form if he becomes old like Legendary G man than the result will be reverse😂😂
Then after that? Minus one dies after being evaporated...and regenerates in seconds, and gets stronger aswell. Just like what happened at the beginning, when he was just a dino,he had a bomb dropped on em,he died, and regenerated into Minus one. It's like shin but he can only do It if he's fucking vaporised
Also legendary would realise he could do nothing, literally nothing to minus. Melee attacks? Regenerates in seconds. Atomic Ray? Regenerates in seconds and becomes stronger.
I don't think Legendary G would mind that much about Minus one.... until they met. Legendary is pretty chill till something is clearly hostile. Minus one is SUPER aggressive, towards anything it encounters regardless of size difference. I think it wouldn't stop coming at Legendary till either it died, or Legendary did. I can not see such a hostile and aggressive monster just suddenly "playing nice" with the Legendary Godzilla.
Note that Legendary has beaten a kaiju that regenerates like Minus one, which is Ghidorah. This would mean Minus one would probably suffer the same fate as Ghidorah if Godzilla was in its thermonuclear form
@@kade-qt1zu Only if he has the radiation to do so. Ghidorah would not have regrown that head, at least not without a lot of time, if there wasn't a convenient volcano emitting a lot of radiation to absorb. To put it simply, Ghidorah needs to meet certain conditions to regenerate to such a rapid degree. G-Minus One can actively do it even in the heat of battle, even after most of his body including his head had been shredded.
The thing to note about versions of Goji like Shin and Minus are that they represent the mindless, rampant destruction of nuclear weaponry that Godzilla was originally spawned from, and as such probably don't have the same cognitive function that Legendary does. They see a threat, they will attack to defend themselves, and will likely keep attacking until one of them is dead. I don't think Minus would submit to Legendary, and I don't think Legendary would try to spare him either. Both see each other as too big a threat to their respective goals (destruction/self-preservation vs universal balance). Minus would probably get his shit kicked in the moment Legendary sees that mushroom cloud, and he would NOT be getting up.
Even I knew that from the start. Yeah maybe MV Goji doesn't care if humans live or die, but he does feel like needless destruction is not to be tolerated, so Minus is getting killed and probably burned to nothing once MV notices his regen.
Shin, yeah. Minus, no. Minus is fueled by anger. He's very aware humans are what hurt him and chooses his enemies and thinks about it. He also represents nature in the fact that he was just an animal and he suffers and survives the atomic tests. He adapts and seeks revenge. Whereas shin is straight up consequences. Shin is way further on the spectrum of just being a function.
@JBreaz Both would be destroyed absolutely demolished you need to realize mv godzilla is almost twice the size of the pyramids of giza he wpuld absolutely vaporize both shin and minus one lets just wait and see if a minus one sequel occurs
@@JBreaz With a theory I've come up with that tries to connect the ending of Minus One, Minus and Shin are the same creature, just in different stages (mentally and physically) and time periods. The past attacks before and after Ginza were covered up by America to allow them to justify continued development of Nuclear Weapons, eventually over the years being so buried to the point of being forgotten, those who refused to shut their mouths were likely gifted something (bad or good) from a government agency since Japan was under American control during the after-war period. Its an interesting concept if I'm correct on Minus One being a Prequel, a vague one at that.
Well for this scenario, this depends because of a lot of reasons. Minus Goji before being irrated was okay with the humans before they tried to kill him. Giving Minus a good reason to commit the destruction he did. Although considering Monsterverse might not have been there during that event, he may not of had known. Unless Minus can somehow communicate to Monsterverse during the events when he was pre-irrated, then we might have a different story. Although with Monsterverse sparing Minus and taking him under his wing option, we haven’t seen Monsterverse have any sort of parental capabilities (as far as we’re aware). Meaning he might just be the father who has no idea what he’s doing but trying his best. But the sparing and adoption option seems like an interesting alternative for a different video.
I think Legendary would spare him. Sure, he has the foresight to realize Minus One might grow bigger and replace him but this could be something he wants. To my knowledge there were more Godzillas in the past in the Monsterverse but there aren't anymore. Legendary Godzilla probably knows this and would want to continue his species while looking for a future alpha in the future. Or he could just want a buddy :3
Heck, add to that for all we know, Minus One might be a female. Doubt it, but if that potential is there it could also explain the differences in abilities.
To some extent cus mo Godzilla is hella stupid and legendary will probably find out and realise this dude is not fit to saving humans or when he gets confronted by a double team or a planned attack my other titans bro would die and there goes the protester or the earth so I’m pretty sure Godzilla legendary will just keep on evolving and forget this dude exists until he erodes something big
Godizlla did not spare gidorah so why would he spare minis 1, minis 1 is clearly not backing down , he will just get beat up, regen and go after another city
id love to see how people in this scenario would react to seeing another, bigger version of the thing which destroyed the city edit : if minus 1 has some juvenile traits ( or looks like a juvenile, legendary may not attack it ( this happens with some bird, eg bateleur eagles are less likely to attack non mature members of their species) , in addition minus one may be too shocked to really react to seeing a substantially bigger member of his species
I do see one route where Legendary spares Minus, and that’s if you recall when we first see Minus he’s not any more aggressive then any other wild animal, until he’s fired upon. Fast forward and I think the reason Minus one has so much aggression towards humans is that a nuke was dropped on his face by accident lol. In the eyes of minus one, it might simply be responding to an active threat to itself. Seeing Legendary towering over it, and given the chance to back down, it might take it and basically chill. With that said, I think it’s fairly obvious that Legendary Godzilla is much smarter, given we see how easy it is to lure Minus One and such, Minus One might not have the thinking capacity to understand its place on the pecking order.
@@julienfranco7179 Well the soldiers in the scene did shoot Minus One before he went completely crazy ... [I suspect] anything that Minus One even vaguely perceives as a threat is likely to spur an ultra-violent over-reaction.
@@julienfranco7179 According to the film's novelization, Godzilla had a sort of symbiotic relationship with the people of Odo Island. Godzilla would bring up fish and the people of Odo Island would give Godzilla "gifts" (what those gifts might be is something we probably won't know). The novelization also stated that Godzilla didn't attack Koichi because Koichi didn't attack Godzilla. The spotlight that was aimed at him was also stated to anger him (remember, he dives at deep depths so a sudden bright light angered him just like how bright lights angered Godzilla in the 1954 film). With this added context, Godzilla having a bright light suddenly shined at his face, him getting shot at by humans, and then having a nuclear bomb dropped on him by humans clearly made him feel betrayed, hence why he began attacking anything related to humanity
"Why did you do this little one" "they shot explosive sticks at me 😢😢😢" Theres a saying in the GM1 novel that Godzilla during his you know what form, he was a being who brought fish when he was being offered and many times has he just been casually walking unless theres something attacking him or in his way

@@monkeyman4346 only reason G-man needed Mothra was because he was also super exhausted while fighting Ghidora, a super healthy G-Man would have no problem going thermonuclear
To be COMPLETLEY honest Legendary would probably leave him alive in hopes he wouldn't become trigger happy but if Minus One were to go into the Hollow Earth he'd be overwhelmed with the Radiation and continue to grow and it's been confirmed by the director for Godzilla Minus One if Godzilla wasn't "killed" at the end of the movie he would've kept growing rapidly and by 1954 would've likely been the size of Heisei and Final Ward due to his rapid growth
When I first saw Minus One's atomic breath I was like "Ok if Minus One Godzilla used his atomic breath on Legendary Godzilla it would probably just power him up" and seems like my theory was correct lol
I love how no one takes into consideration about how -1 is literally a mutated dinosaur. Everyone just automatically goes “hell just submit!!1!1!1!” Or “hell just fight and lose!!1!1!1!11!” When realistically he’d just either freeze up in the presence of a larger carnivore or just immediately run. Instinct would INSTANTLY kick in in a face to face encounter like this.
He does have a shred of intelligence as saw in the beginning, it's also how he became so vindictively evil in the movie. So the likely answer is he'd try to fight since it would be like a cornered wolf as he has nowhere to run and would know he couldn't run away from Legendary.
Doesn't your argument end up backfiring considering Legendary is literally a similar kind of animal? Apparently these giants are native creatures, which means whatever instinct that applies to Minus One would apply to Legendary. And considering Legendary is smart enough to know what malice is (he laughs at Kong), I think it's disingenuous to say Minus One would just be a dumb animal.
As those of us who saw Godzilla minus one he may die but that ending seems like he has the ability to regenerate if any part of him is still intact. Also who knows if you blow big enough pieces off of him they might be able to regenerate into another Godzilla.
Most likely scenario is MV Goji spares him thinking him to be a member of his own species. He's been alone for so long, he would be delighted to see a survivor of his species.
I’ve yet to see Minus One but I think if these two were to meet the outcome would depend on how aggressive Minus one is. (I also like Idea that Legendary would to see other Titan as a potential food Source. Unfortunately looking like another Godzilla and as Goji Center said, Legendary would probably see this other Godzilla as a threat to his rule. (Or a “all you can eat Buffet”)
@@patricknisius7457highly doubt itd be a leash lmao, they'd both be beneficial for eachother, plus i doubt minus one really cares abt being the "alpha"
M1 "juicing" Legendary would be completely unnecessary and would go against everything Legendary stands for. Humanity had a bomb strong enough to instantaneously revive and supercharge Legendary to the point where he was set to go Thermonuclear, and that happened in 2019. There's absolutely no way the humans haven't created more bombs just like that one since then, they've probably made ones that are even stronger. M1's heat ray would power him up yes, but the widespread colateral damage of it being used would mean hundreds of thousands of innocent human casualities and insanely high amounts of destruction to the surrounding area. Legendary isn't particularly fond of either of those things in most cases. Plus, Legendary has never spared a Titan who has caused the amount of destruction M1 caused for no good reason. M1 did it because he felt like doing it. Even if he did submit, Legendary would still kill him because he'd see him as an evil being that doesn't benefit the planet in any way, and instead enjoys and is clearly more than capable of damaging it. Tl;dr: Humanity has already proven themselves capable of juicing Legendary when they need to and they can do it in ways that don't completely defeat the purpose of Legendary's role in the process. Keeping M1 alive has 0 benefit to Legendary or the planet.
Id imagine after not only coming out of the blast unscathed but also amped up MV Goji would proceed to grab -1 Goji by the throat, pick him up and stare him dead in the eyes with a look that says “We can do this the easy way or we can do it the hard way. The choice is yours.”

After all even after suffering from the effects of decompression and oressure he still chose to sit in place bc he just wanted everyone dead
Its a difficult quesiton. But I think it comes down to how Minus One responds If Minus One sees Legendary Goji as a threat he'll probably immediately go on the offensive which may dock a few points from Legendary in the sparing book Alternatively Legendary trying to tell Minus One to stop may just anger Minus One. After all the guy has a vendetta against stuff that opposes him. So he may just choose to ignore Legendary's words and go down fighting. For a 3rd option we have Minus One submitting but that begs what he does after. He has no home and lingering around Japan may lead to possible attacks by humans which will start the cycle again. So perhaps Legendary takes Minus One with him. To both keep him in check and possibly get him to mellow out. The scariest thing is how would humanity respond to this event. Learning there's not only another Godzilla but one that makes the current one look puny would probably cause wide spread panic and hysteria. People would probably try harder to eliminate them. Showing Godzilla humanity may be a parasite the world doesn't need. Which at that point may make Legendary Godzilla realize Minus One may have been in the right...well sort of. Its all a lot of questions but it leaves you with a lot to think.
Legendary Godzilla would ultimately decide end Minus One right then and there, realizing that this little guy IS a bully who even if he does submit, he'll likely become a serious problem if he's allowed to potentially grow, and later decides to challenge Legendary's alpha status. Another thing to consider is that while Minus One's atomic blast may be "food" to Godzilla at its current scope, if this little guy is allowed to grow, there's no telling how much more destructive it's atomic breath will get when unleased on the world which could irrevocably damage the environment. To put it bluntly, Minus One is too dangerous to be allowed to live.
Legendary is a Godzilla of sentiment and old grudges. Usually being the last of his kind, I figure be might be hesitant to kill minus one given how similar they are. Though Minus Goji could push it's limits, it's actions were provoked by humans on some level.
"it's actions were provoked by humans on some level." Barely. In fact Minus One seems to go out of its way to portray its Godzilla as evil, similar to GMK's version of Godzilla. In pretty much every scene including its introduction in its pre-mutated form, it's always shown attacking the humans first unprovoked, and the humans are the ones who have to retaliate, unlike most Godzilla films where it's usually the other way around.
@@windowsVD Minus One Goji was never evil in the slightest. Pre mutation he attacked a new structure he didn't like in his territory, then when the humans began firing on him he targeted them. Yeah I love minus one but his inherent aggressiveness and unwillingness to submit would only get himself bowled over and crushed against a much physically superior opponent. Minus ones atomic beam is absolutely devastating but it’s not like Legendary is lacking in atomic fire power either
Legendary Godzilla gets juiced by radioactivity and had a nuke detonate right in his face, twice! Minus one wouldn't even be a minor speed bump for Legendary.
The only thing I can think of against all this is the difference in their regenerative abilities. Minus One regenerated near *instantly* from having half its face blown off, and even survived the attack at the end of the movie (plus whatever is going on with Noriko and that dorsal plate shaped growth on her neck. We don't know for sure, but I'm relatively sure Minus One can infect living things with G-Cells)

@@Lordzilla Oh, there's *absolutely* going to be consequences for Noriko if they return to the Minus One continuity. But my main thought was even if Legendary Godzilla "Kills" Minus One, if it *is* G-Cells Noriko is infected with, what are the odds that that could happen to Legendary?
I think the Atomic blast from Minus one saved his life. Legendary Godzilla will know that Minus one will be feeding him with the blast and he will know that they are of different species. I don't think Legendary eradicates Minus one, I think he will keep him as a source of food for future missions.
the most optmistic take I can see is Legendary adopting Minus One like Heisei Goji did to Junior to have him be his successor in case he kicks the bucket
I was only a few minutes in the video and I thought Legendary Godzilla feeds on radiation, so the more nukes Minus One sets off the more powerful Legendary G gets making him unstoppable.
I think Minus is a malevolent being, and Legendary knows this. However, if we were to make a fight of this, I'd imagine Minus getting killed, then showing up a few years later, bigger and stronger. Perhaps he is able to feed off radiation too, and thats why he nuked the city. Legendary could kill him easily a couple times, but eventually we would get a Minus One thats almost the same size. Think Doomsday from Superman, but in zilla form.
Considering Minus a remaking of the Original Godzilla for the modern world (basically being a new starting point for any future Godzilla movies in Japan), this very well could be. But there's likely an Oxygen Destroyer / Destoroyah kaiju out there since, one thing Japanese media on Kaiju points out, there's always a balance. If Godzilla can't destroy Minus, then someone else can.
But see my problem with that explanation (don’t get me wrong I understand that explanation completely this is just my perspective) is that if Godzilla wants to keep the balance of the world in check and if he saw the damage minus one did to the city, even if he isn’t fully grown, he would probably still kill him. I based this because of two reason. 1:Godzilla wants to maintain balance and any kaiju who tries to interrupt the balance, Godzilla will kill and eliminate whoever is disturbing the balance. And 2: Godzilla wants to make sure he lets the other kaiju’s know he’s the alpha. And he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure he establishes dominance.
@@darklord1366 Yes, but what if he kills Minus One, but Minus regenerates, possibly even stronger? We saw how he was regenerating at the end of the movie, and when he was nuked, he obviously got stronger from that? What if Minus One is kind of like Cell or Doomsday? Sure, Legendary would easily take him down a few times. But how long before Minus One gets to be at the same level as Legendary?
@@MisterSouji If that's the case then there is nothing he could do, unless he vaporised minus one so that he could no longer regenerate or go thermo, but goji might do so if he noticed he's regeneration. Goji will also mutate from minus one's atomic breath as long as it's not devastating to him due to it being his main favourite snack...
Minus one was an amazing movie with a very threatening take on the king of the monsters but I say that even though he probably wouldn't like it minus one goji to survive would bow to legendary goji.
I'd like to think that, not would legendary goji spare minus one, he would probably take minus one under his wing like an adopted son. I can see this as a likely scenario considering that this would probably be the first time in a LONG time Legendary has seen any creature that resembles his own, and as mentioned, minus one's size might give legendary the impression that minus is a juvenile. Legendary might even chop up minus one's aggressiveness as adolescent angst. It's also not unheard of for goji's from different continuities to adopted goji's from relative species (Manilla and Jr.) and I can't imagine legendary not doing the same. What I can imagine is how that interaction would go down. Legendary charges minus one, closing the distance, minus one might be able to get off a blast from the heat ray, but it does little to stop legendary's charge. Minus one braces himself as legendary clinches his jaw around the scruff of minus' neck, only to feel the firm grasp of legend's jaw as minus one is lifted above the streets below. Minus roars in confusion, only for legendary to growl back. Legendary has no intention on killing minus one, not yet at least, but he's not going to get off the hook either. Minus one needs discipline, and legendary is going to be the one to teach it to him. The last thing the people of Tokyo see is minus one being carried off like a cub into Tokyo bay.
Goji, I'm curious to know how the Monsterverse would have played out Dagon, another member of Godzilla’s species, had not succumbed to the MUTO eggs that had been layed inside of him? How would the world handle two Godzillas?
I would like to see a What-If scenario of Legendary Godzilla meeting Zilla Jr and the giant mutations from 1998 Godzilla The Animated Series. It would be interesting see how Godzilla would interact with Zilla Jr considering both of them keeping the balance within their respective worlds. Or maybe if both giant creatures switch worlds and see how they would behave in each other’s worlds. Titans vs Mutations.
Zilla just wants to protect his human family, his adoptive father in particular, since they're all he's known familywise. Zilla was hesitant to attack his birth parent when he was brought back as Cyber-Zilla, but without a mind of his own, Zilla realized Cyber-Zilla was a threat and had to eliminated to protect his family. Legendary Godzilla *has* the ability to think and likely figure out what's going on as Zilla did with Nessie and Komodithrax.
MonsterVerse Godzilla meets First Generation Godzilla: MV Goji problably wouldn't think too much of him until he starts destroying cities all over, once he begins to destroy stuff, MV Godzilla will either kill him or just fend him away. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Showa Godzilla: They problably would become friends, they both are planet protectors. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Heisei Godzilla: They are likely to not even have contact. Heisei Godzilla just wants to be left on his own and MV Godzilla will leave him alone. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Tristar Godzilla: ToraGoji isn't going to be enough of a threat for MV Goji to even notice her. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Millennium Godzilla: MV Godzilla might end up killing him raiding nuclear plants all the time. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets GMK Godzilla: MV Godzilla kills GMK Goji, GMK is evil. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Kiryu Godzilla: They are likely to not have contact. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Godzilla Final Wars: They would either team up or fight for dominance. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Shin Godzilla: Such a mishaping creature, should not exist in the natural order, he'd be erased by MV Goji. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Godzilla Earth: Godzilla Earth kills MonsterVerse Godzilla. MonsterVerse Godzilla meets Godzilla Minus One: MV Godzilla either drives Minus One away or kills him.
Kinda makes a battle of radiation beams irrelevant if both can absorb radiation from each others beams. I’d be curious of how it’ll effect their growth and power. But I’d be more concerned about 2 potential Burning Godzillas exploding.
If you do make a face off, you should talk about how different it would be if Minus One could get as big as Legendary. Minus One’s breath would be like the Tsar Bomb if they were the same size!
In my case, I was 5 or 6 when I saw the pissed-off Godzilla... I was a kid, and I was scared. A few years later, and still impressionable, seeing a version of Godzilla that fought against the "bad" creatures struck a cord with me. I simply loved him, and now I really dig the Toho/Legendary MV stuff coming out, and I love Shin and Minus ...It is all frakking excellent to me✌️

Legendary Godzilla can regen. After he took a hit from the oxygen weapon he went down to his hidden lair to recover.

Legendary Godzilla probably knows this and would want to continue his species while looking for a future alpha in the future. Or he could just want a buddy :3

With that said, I think it’s fairly obvious that Legendary Godzilla is much smarter, given we see how easy it is to lure Minus One and such, Minus One might not have the thinking capacity to understand its place on the pecking order.
he attacked an island unprovoked at the beginning of the movie
@@julienfranco7179 Well the soldiers in the scene did shoot Minus One before he went completely crazy ... [I suspect] anything that Minus One even vaguely perceives as a threat is likely to spur an ultra-violent over-reaction.
@erutherford yeah and those humans probably perceived a 50ft tall lizard coming at them a threat as well
@@julienfranco7179 According to the film's novelization, Godzilla had a sort of symbiotic relationship with the people of Odo Island.

He does have a shred of intelligence as saw in the beginning, it's also how he became so vindictively evil in the movie. So the likely answer is he'd try to fight since it would be like a cornered wolf as he has nowhere to run and would know he couldn't run away from Legendary.

@@detective2221 is this mf a robot?
Its a difficult quesiton. But I think it comes down to how Minus One responds
If Minus One sees Legendary Goji as a threat he'll probably immediately go on the offensive which may dock a few points from Legendary in the sparing book
Alternatively Legendary trying to tell Minus One to stop may just anger Minus One.
The only reason minus one was goin crazy was cause he was attacked first. He probably would end up submitting
It takes minus a few seconds to charge his shi u dont think legendary would move tf?

"it's actions were provoked by humans on some level."
Barely.
After his mutation his increased size also required a greater territory, and he began viewing humans as a threat.

11:40 I think the first one would be terrific movie plot and the second would be just brutal

Minus one was an amazing movie with a very threatening take on the king of the monsters but I say that even though he probably wouldn't like it minus one goji to survive would bow to legendary goji.
I imagine legendary Godzilla would look at minus one and think that it's his son.
