Regular ice tea and sweet tea which it looks like thats what you’re actually drinking are two different things. Sweet tea is iced tea filled with basically as much sugar as possible and still tasting good.
@@SuHu62 And you have to specify if you want lemon or not. In the south and I do not drink iced tea, especially sweet tea. I will drink hot tea once in awhile. In the South (at least the Carolinas, Georgia, and Alabama), if you ask for "tea" you're going to get sweet tea. You have to specify unsweet tea. Where my husband is from (northeast Ohio), if you ask for "tea" they'll bring you unsweet tea. When I visit, I normally ask for lemonade because sugar added to cold, unsweet tea is not my thing.
The way I make my ice tea is by brewing 6 teabags in a liter of boiling hot water. Then I take about either 3/4-1 cup of sugar and mix a little bit of the hot water with the sugar to melt it and make a simple syrup. Next, I pour ice in my 3 liter pitcher, then add the tea and syrup, and pour cold water in while continually stirring until the pitcher is full.

As someone who lives where iced tea is popular, I get weird looks when I say I don’t like tea (hot or cold). I get major headaches when I drink it.
Have you tried decaf? We buy decaf tea bags and make our own sweet tea because we can’t have a lot of caffeine.
@@addictwithariptide Thoughtful of you to suggest that. ☺️
@@addictwithariptide I have tried decaf. I don’t think it’s the caffeine because I drink coffee sometimes. I might be allergic to something in the tea 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you for the suggestion though :)
@@invisibleghostgirl gotcha! I haven’t ever heard of that happening, I guess just stay away from it like you already do 😂. And no problem, I like at least trying to help.
I've never heard of that, usually teas cure the headache
Such adorable reactions 😊.
It is “proper nice” 😊 I love it too… just consume in moderation 🥰
Iced tea is my favourite drink
Yah. My 11 year old will try any drink or food. These teens are so RELUCTANT.
I'm watching this while sipping on a iced tea LOL
i love their accent 😩✨
They don't have an accent. They are English men, speaking English you muppet
Give English people flavor and their minds explode!
“That’s proper nice”😂
Southern Sweet Tea is especially good on a hot summer day. It cools you and brightens your eyes.
“Iced tea is so good, oh my days” warmed my little American heart 🥹
Exactly my reaction the first time I tried iced tea.
Oh nothing finer than a glass of sweet ice tea.. I am famous for my Sweet Ice Tea, use to have Police Officers come by my home for a glass. LOL
I wonder (and this is just an assumption) if they have hot tea because it’s generally a little colder in the UK, because I live in Texas and it’s always hot so we always have iced tea . I could be wrong. All I know is when it gets up to 110 I want iced tea, not so much hot tea lol. But yes sweet ice tea is a must have
@@dannystephens2626 i was just talking about that fact, outside gardening they stop to drink a hot tea. It was smoking hot too.
I’ve never heard of you.
@@dannystephens2626 I don't know cuz I'm in Mississippi and I can't stand sweet tea. And I grew up here and in Louisiana. I prefer it unsweetened. But in my defense, during the summer whenever I cut grass AKA with a push mower I like to have a cup of coffee, hot coffee creamer no sugar. This southern sun's frying my brain 😄
@@cathyb5759 😦I like coffee but not after lawn work😂unsweet isn’t that bad, to me it’s just water with a little twang in it.
These guys are so darn cute!!! I just love them.
I'm from Georgia and when I was a kid, I thought that when the tea was hot, it wasn't ready yet. I thought that it had to cool down enough to add ice to it. 😭 I thought the ONLY way to drink tea was cold and sweet up until I was about 9 or 10 😂😂
Me too I'm from NC and my mom boiled it with sugar then she put it in a glass jug with sliced lemon...
Lol. I'm from GA too. I don't mind hot tea, but I prefer cold, and I can't drink a hot drink and eat at the same time. Although, my favorite "hot tea" is fresh southern sweet tea before ice is added.
But how cute are they all! So charming to see them like new foods and drinks 😁
As an Indian I'm thankful for my country to offer me cuisines and and foods and bevs from around the world. I mean what person hasn't tried iced tea at 25
I completely agree, iced tea is so much better than hot tea, it’s so refreshing and you can taste the tea better
O my boys. So glad you are enjoying a piece of the South USA❤️🥰
HUNDREDS & HUNDREDS of years of tea & never once did they ever think about drinking it cold???
Regular ice tea and sweet tea which it looks like thats what you’re actually drinking are two different things. If you ordered ice tea in America you would just get plane tea that is cold with little to no sugar or you add your own sugar. Sweet tea is iced tea filled with basically as much sugar as possible and still tasting good.
In the south, you have to specify if you want unsweet tea.
@@SuHu62 And you have to specify if you want lemon or not. In the south and I do not drink iced tea, especially sweet tea. I will drink hot tea once in awhile. All I drink nowadays is water and coffee, and coffee and water. I quit drinking coke, which down here in Mississippi when you say you want a Coke then they ask what kind because it covers anything from Coke, Dr pepper, to barqs root beer lol
@@cathyb5759 you order a coke and they ask 'Is Pepsi okay?' No. No, it is not.
Depends on where you are. Iced tea is sweet where I am. We have to ask for unsweet. If I go visit my cousins their iced tea only comes unsweet.
I just love the phrase “oh my days” it’s just so good
The way I make my ice tea is by brewing 6 teabags in a liter of boiling hot water.
I wonder how the boys would feel if you'd just given them iced tea and not sweet tea? 🤣.... Here in the states some of us drink it without sugar. I prefer it without sugar.
No, they're not, and they didn't even know what iced tea is 😆.
