It's so funny to backtrack & hear you say how you're intimidated by smoked out, grungy eye looks. A year & a half later, that'd become signature HLP style! 🖤
This is so much more interesting than most "shop my stash" videos I've seen! I usually don't watch this type of video because most of them just have the person shopping their stash for one look for that video. I love that your method of spending a couple weeks using the same products in different ways results in a hybrid of a review and a "shop my stash" video. I hope you'll continue making these this year. I'm so glad I actually gave this video a try!
@ Hannah!! I love how you had a different cutesy shot for each time you said orange, but, missed opportunity! When you said “clownishly orange”I was preparing for a photo of the Apricot A$$hole; he who shall not be named 😂. Of course , I’m uncouth and you’re classy. That could be the difference 🤔
omg, that is rather brilliant but also would have been impossible for me b/c I can't look at pictures of that person! It make my brain burn to a cinder!
I enjoy that you review your products after wearing them. I started shopping my stash this year and it really allows me to understand what I like and what I don’t.
Thanks, Tamiko! I know, it's amazing how much I'm discovering about what I didn't know about my own collection :) I'm glad you have been shopping your stash too! It's the best!! xoxo
🍊 I am also not a huge 🍊 blush fanatic. 🍊 my favourite are mineral blushes, that can 🍊 be buffed into the skin for the most natural effect🍊. In case the blush is too strong🍊, I first dip my brush into a translucent or skin coloured powder, 🍊, then blush, then tap off, then apply. 🥥 yumyumyum
The burgundy mascara? How cool it must be! 😄😍 Colourful mascaras are my highschool memories, I've had almost everyday my lashes covered with violet, green or navy blue mascara. It was my signature look in late '90s 😝 But I have never had a burgundy one (I think Dior has had that colour, but it was far beyond my price range). As a reminicscence of my teenage years I bought a blue mascara recently and worn it once. It's hard to pair it with something to not get the weird and silly look 😉 Your lips look lovely in that colour 😍
Omg I have telepathy as well and it’s breathtaking!!!! The look you came up with is so beautiful, I’ve been needing inspiration for this shade! Love the video 😊
Hah, for a long moment I thought you were saying that you are telepathic! "I have telepathy" LOL. Finally figured it out. Yes, it's one of my favorite shadows! xoxo
The same things are still in my weekly makeup bag again this week, my chopping block items. I’m happy with getting closer to using some of these up! I’m just about there with a primer, and an eyebrow product should follow. Weekends are always my choice! I did add in a few new lip colors being I finished one recently. Eyeshadow is always my choice, and I need to watch more tutorials. I wear mostly neutral looks but I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone with a little color and different looks!
I just came across your channel and I'm loving your videos. I am testing the morphe Jaclyn hill palette and I am having the same frustration with the fact that all the transition colors are warm toned.
Oh my gosh, hi Heather! I just clicked through and watched a few of your videos, your channel is awesome! Totally subscribed! I've heard other UA-camrs mention you but never stumbled across any of your videos. Thanks so much for commenting.
Same thing here .... with the Jaclyn hill palette I have it. Take it for my kit from time to time but it’s not my favorite. I always prefer the Natasha denona setup of Shadows and ABH they talk to the makeup artist in me. ❤️
I have a full size Tarteist pro glow and i hate it too. It came in a boxycharm. Maybe you would like it better if you added a bit to your Nuxe dry oil and sheer it out on your legs or décolleté? The thing I hate about the pro glow is it’s so darn stripey and doesn’t sheer out in a pretty way. The oil may help with that.
Eta I really can’t believe of the dozens and dozens of nyx butter glosses and butter creams.. I have 2 and they are both what you own (Cannes and Tiramisu). So smooth on the lips. The opposite of the dreadful lip lingerie of which I have the entire vault 🙄. I can’t wait to declutter the few remaining. What a derpy purchase.
I love the idea of mixing a less-than-stellar liquid highlight with that amazing oil! At this point I think I have decluttered the tarteist thing (in my declutter into a box) but if I'm wanting a body glow I'll pull it out. Thanks, Tara! xoxo!
I don't like large pallets. I prefer individual shades or at the most a quad of related colors. Country Woods quad from Cover Girl I've rebought. Kathy B.
The Jaclyn hill palette depotted pretty easily. You can cut out the cardboard layer that surrounds the shadows, and get them out without heat. At least on my later release palette it worked well. I actually bought it with the intent to depot it.

Take a shot when Hannah says "orange"...lmao!😁😁
I know, right??? When I started editing I was like "ORANGE MUCH???!??!"

Hannah I have been binging your videos this week, and could listen to you talk about makeup for days😍😍😍 you’re amazing!

I loved having the burgundy one. I'll probably repurchase a burgundy in 2019, though not the same one from YSL.

Oooh, good job finishing a lip color! That's so hard to do. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone, too! It's hard but fun! xoxo

I'm really excited to see a look with the Kat Von D glitter lipstick! Please take a picture :D
I'm going to wear it today! I'll try to get a picture.

Would you consider depotting your favorites into an ultimate z palette for you?
maybe some day! I will probably depot the JH palette after my no-buy ends and only keep the colors I love.
Very nice video Hannah!!! Love your make up and hair!!!! Big hug!
Thanks, Cristina!!! Big hug to you too!

What are the different categories?? So far I have active face mask, hydrating face mask, different night creams, etc...where is the full list (:

18.26 "johnny I hardly knew ya" ???? cuz I have tears in my eyes
:)
Hahahaha you absolutely swooooooned 16:05
NOTHING GETS ME LIKE SHINY CHARTREUSE!!!
Gotta say, I watch you as religiously as Tati. :D
AW! Thanks
Honestly, Hannah took Tati's place in my everyday UA-cam routine. Oops 😎
Makeup Mind Palace is going into the vernacular posthaste.

oooh, fascinating idea. I might depot it next year. I would love to declutter most of those warm browns and keep the pops of color.
I have a feeling that that colourpop bronzer would look a little bit *orange* on your skin tone 🤔
LOL!!!
19:14-19:20 what a strange, terrifying, and funny moment
So basically, it is very orange.
haha ornG
I liked your look better than hers.
