Hi I have this problem when I saved a new file in Subtitle Edit using a different guiding format then trying to open a different file in subtitle edit, the newly open file kinda follows the previous saved format of the previous file. It's pretty hard to understand from my writing but I hope you can help. It's always like that. Can you help me with this? thank you
Hi, I tried it all out and the text if still very wrong. Are there options in this program to run it again or are there better ways to improve the subtitle recognition?
Hi David, first off thanks for the video, however I don't have the "Audio/video to text" function in my video dropdown menu. I have version 3.6.12. Is there a fix for this? Thanks again!
I've been wanting this feature for years as I love watching foreign-language movies. I can understand German well, Dutch is okay, my French, though, is minimal, and as for Russian, forget it! But Subtitle Edit now allows me to generate subtitles, which I can translate to English either within SE or by using Google Translate. I never bind subtitles in a movie; I always use a .srt file. This really is fantastic software and I will be making a donation.

Nice video david! Do you know how one would use this to create word-by-word highlighted captions? Perhaps with the word that is being spoken as a different color (like green) from the normal text (white)? Do you know how you might stroke that font?
Please help somebody! How can I add subtitles on the subtitles? It's like I need to place subtitles, which are translating some words in the video
