Definitely the best updating/adaptation of Robinson Crusoe ever done.
Fun fact: the family in The Swiss family Robinson was not named Robinson. That is hardly a Swiss name. When Robinson Crusoe was published, it was a runaway international best seller. It, naturally, inspired other lost on a desert island books. These were called, as a group, "Robinsons". Thus, The Swiss Family Robinson is not the story about a Swiss family named Robinson but, rather, the Robinson about a Swiss family. The family is actually never named.
