A terrific Old-Fashioned Blackberry Cobbler recipe just like mom used to make!

Have you ever picked wild blackberries? Picking blackberries takes me back to when I was a kid. Every summer we picked blackberries, and every summer my mom would make a terrific blackberry cobbler.
We always top ours with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a sublime treat!
This recipe calls for a pre-baked floating crust in the middle, but you can skip it if desired.
All you need is a double crust pastry, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, water, blackberries, lemon juice and butter, with an egg wash and coarse sugar for brushing on the crust before baking.
