Love to see solo estheticians doing their thing! How did you go about building clientele when you first went solo? Did some clients come from places you worked before, i want to go solo but wonder how booked i will be ?
Is it worth it to go solo? I’m getting my masters rn and want to open up my own place but don’t know if I’ll have to work all day every day… can I be successful and flexible?
I would start working for some just for the experience and practice so you can see the ( DO’s and DONT ) but be planning your exit stacking your money!

@AtinyElring Wow crazy you say that, same thing with me..I didn't get a job right away either it. I wish I did. I try to do solo lashes out of my house didn't work out. Now im studying putting my brain back into my books. i iHoping to get a job.

@@samanthagray1687oooooo I went to nail school so I learn from my mistakes not finding a place togo right after school so this time around when I goto esthetician school ima make sure I set myself up togo look for a job be consistent with it…Learn all I can learn keep a positive mindset
Never to late. Iam an elder & shadowing an Esthetician. Hopefully to move PA.
I'm looking at my older age. Getting into the beauty industry myself. Didn't think of shadowing though. That's an awesome idea.

I don’t like giving facial I prefer and want to wax it’s just quicker to me , just too much goes into getting a facial graduate in 3 months

Did you get your own place right after school?
No i waited! I worked at a waxing place for a couple of months before I went solo
