an excellent revival of a historical political oldie used for a modern campaign, 88 years apart no less! a very nice slideshow too! reminds me of the old style of such that I love. good work indeed :)
TR wouldn't be allowed into today's GOP. He fought corporate trust, passed the Pure Food and Drug Act and fought corruption in the NYPD. He'd be branded a RINO
You left out Coolidge and Reagan . Reagan was our most successful Christian President and we had happy days during his optimistic presidency . We did not have happy days during the pessimist , Jimmy Carter's presidency .
No they were omitted intentionally. They are not good presidents and should not be remembered as such. Particularly Reagan as he weakened our secular government and put the country in a precarious financial situation that his successors had to deal with. If there are to be any more Republican additions to this list you could arguably add Eisenhower or possibly Nixon or Ford. But for it is definitely the last Republican who could earn a place on this list.
Ronald Reagan is our most successful Christian President . The reason that the extreme left lies and tries to re - write Regan's presidency is because if they can tear down his presidency , then that makes it all the easier for them to achieve their goal , to turn America into a godless atheist Marxist nation. America is not an atheist nation . Keep atheism out of our government and out of our schools .@@stratagama
You are showing the wrong Roosevelt in the beginning! That is Teddy Roosevelt, a Republican! He was a progressive Republican and very leftist/liberal for his times. But he was no Democrat! His fifth cousin, Franklin Delano Roosevelt of course was a Democrat. The song Happy Days are here Again was the unofficial anthem of the Democratic Party when he ran for President in 1932, and throughout his administration, and remains the unofficial anthem of the Democratic Party today.
I know, I also don't care about party I care about if he's a liberal or not. TR stays. And it's the reason why I also chose a photo that has Ike in it too.
@@eddihaskell you very much are missing the point, if it weren't for the fact that I don't have enough song I would have gone all the way back as far as John Adams. So I decided to limit myself to 20th century and 21st century presidents. Woodrow Wilson is absent as the man is a terrible clot of a human
@stratagaama aww disappointed to hear you went political! Let the song be for everyone Edit oops I just read other comments, somehow I wondered into a strictly Democrat channel. I was Democrat for 40 years until I walked away.

Happy Days are Here Again! Down with the traitor, up with the stars!
Thank you FDR without you none of us would be here
Thank you Georgia

They sure are here again!
Posting in my Facebook!! 🇺🇸
I had to listen to this song when I heard that Jon Stewart was coming back to hosting the Daily Show.
Seems I don't need to move back to UK😂
No Reagan Or Bush Or President Trump???
All Democratic! I Can’t Be Happy!
Theodore Roosevelt and Eisenhower were included and are Republicans. But the ones you listed were not good for us.
Love the video -- except that TR's a Republican!
I've claimed him for the liberals

He'd be called a RINO and hated by today's GQP.

@@stratagama Okay fair enough. But the song was not written until 1930, so it would have been too late for Teddy.

Yeah, lower inflation, unemployment and record stock market . And no drinking bleach and reefer trucks as morgues. Terrible times.
