I absolutely L❤VE Athena! Not just her amazing talent🥁 but her whole personality! Somehow even tho she's been in Rock-n-roll her whole life (& surrounded by R-n-R musicians) SOMEHOW there is still a sweetness about her! She's a Badass to be sure; but also seems like a truly wonderful woman. What a great role model for young girls aspiring to be future musicians!!!👍 Especially considering "things" in her past that she has overcome. She's a survivor & a winner! Just getting around to seeing the ex wives of rock series. I had to come on here and see Athena's whole performance at the Bonzo Bash. Even though I know this is over ten years old now. Things seemed alot better even just back then. But anyway such a pretty little thing, up there playing the drums. She is a real misnomer to me, so dainty and beautiful, doing a quintessential big man's job.
She is Goddess. So funny watching the guys trying to make their EGOS, and she doesn’t even care. Brave woman.

Some years back when Tommy left Motley and they recruited Randy Castillo (rip) and then Samantha Maloney for the "New Tattoo Tour" I wish they had recruited Athena! I Don't know how that would have been Taken by Tommy, the fans, or idk, etc, etc.. If you ever see interviews with her, she's (more or less) a female Tommy lol and she seems completely capable of playing the Crue's songs!!..

Enki That was the acoustic guitars, which are frequency masking the treble of the drums quite a bit in this video. She actually more or less stops drumming altogether while she gets another stick.

Can you do that??? I’d say it’s a little more than intimidating to be playing a song that the best drummer ever performed and mastered. I’m thinking she’s fucking awesome and did a great job considering she was clearly nervous and lost a stick twice.
Well I tell you what I actually do play drums and yes she can play basic beats but she is definitely a beginner drummer nothing wrong with that she's having fun and as far as Tommy his solos seem boring and tasteless 2 most but he said it in an interview that he can play all the technical stuff which I have seen him do but he's 50% talent 50% showmanship to be honest motley Crue as a band is that way to they not only want to stimulate your ears they want to stimulate your eyes and as a drummer I can tell you it's not always so easy do all kinds of crazy flashy drumming when you're trying to be technical in fact the technical stuff to me is boring it's rudiments that you've been doing since most of us started playing it's about keeping somebody's attention

Because there was little drumming on this song. Lol some drum and bass line are beginner boring by those who wrote the song. Do not blame the player for little to no substance to show their chops. Lmao. Jumping to conclusions and assuming so much, may make an ASS OUT OF U. Careful.
