There’s so many reasons to love Emmy, but her impeccable, colorful and vivid description of the food is probably the main reason why I come back every time. She’s so good at describing the taste of the food she’s eating in a relatable matter, I can almost taste it! She’s the best!! ❤
they're such a great investment. Crispy french fries in 15 minutes, any frozen fried food comes up crispy and delicious. You can roast vegetables, bake meats, reheat pastries, bake casseroles, defrost things quickly, etc... They're just so damned useful. I used to use my gas conventional oven a lot but I very rarely use it now because my air fryer doesn't need to reheat and has most things crispy and ready to eat in 15 minutes. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially impatient people who love crispy food. I'm cooking some chicken strips and french fries right now for a midnight snack... :P
I just wish they were able to sell pork version.. I think it's due to import issue and possibly to avoid religious dietary restrictions, they sell fish cake version in overseas but I really really miss pork version of these 😭
@@ntcrawford722You do know you run a higher risk of getting parasites from fish than you do from pork, right? And I don't think you can get parasites from a REAL hot dog since they're smoked, so they're already cooked...
I practically live in H-Mart and I am (black) American... My Korean friends tell me I am there more than them - LOL! My son loves Oh-K Dog in the food court of ours... The best Korean Corn/Hot Dogs! AND, their produce is awesome!
I asked my mom to buy the cheese balls next time she goes to H-mart💖😋💕❣️ I went to a Korean Hot Dogs shop, that look like fancier and different recipes and varieties of ingredients for the inside and outside. So yummy and of course, look more like the ad photos of those frozen versions. Each potato or square piece of French fries so square and completely covering it💖🤩😋💕❣️❣️❣️
Emmy! I have the same air fryer. If you do not want it to pre-heat every time, you can just use the Reheat option. Only downside of that is it only goes up to 360F.
Oh my Glob YAAAS! I'm so glad that you finally made tteokbokki. I've been encouraging you to make tteokbokki for years! Now I'm going to encourage you to try making it from scratch. Be sure to add soft boiled eggs and lots of green onions.
I just bought parchment paper liners for my air fryer basket from Amazon. The liners have 2" sides and they really cut down on the fryer cleanup. I think my air fryer is a similar model as yours 👍 Thought this info might be helpful 😊
There’s the Lviv Croissants fast food chain in Ukraine where they make different types of croissants and croissant sandwiches (gained popularity after Angelina Jolie ate there) but they don’t make garlic croissants. We usually eat garlic bread with Ukrainian borscht so I think it would be a winning combo with Korean garlic croissants!
Stinken delicious got to love you gal. You tell it like it is and your face shows success of the product or recipe always. Your mike is picking up the crunch awesomely!
I love Korean corn dogs and their garlic bread! I'm Italian, and I love their take on it! And I'm American too and I love the cheesy Korean corn dogs! I always buy them in bulk!
whaaaaa i also got the the corndogs... i got the fish cake and motz with potato version. I actually saw you there but I didn't want to interrupt your outing. My mom was visiting so we went and had a very fun time. I've been watching your channel since you started but she started watching you earlier this year. So we both had a great day and were wondering what you got. We got stuff to make hot pot as well as several bakery snacks and other fun items. I also tried a chamoe melon (it was like honeydew but crisp like a cucumber). I got the pantry tteobokki... i will have to try the frozen one next time.
"Fishdogs"? Hehe.... instead of dogfish. 😀 We have a fairsized Korean community here in Tallahassee, Florida, so I would think there should be a Korean foods store. I need to try these!
I am normally not a fan of individually wrapped things in foodstuffs, but with those it's pretty necessary to prevent them from getting warpped, iced up and fused together on the long variable trip from production to home.
Emmy, youre my favorite youtuber! Youre always so positive and amazlingly eloquent! I love your voice and how you make sure to explain things to everyone! Thanks so much for everything you do! :)
Love you Emmy 😍. Video just showed up in my feed. A croissant and the cheese balls would make a perfect supper! You are a brave food warrior with a cast iron stomach! Thank you for sharing 😊🙏❤️
Oh my goodness- you're killin' me, Emmy! It's almost dinner time at our house and now I'm sooo hungry. Looks like I'll be stopping by the freezer case at H Mart tomorrow!
@@emmymade Yes! That texture! And considering it's mozzarella (I love delicate cheese) and that the dishes have a sweet-ish Korean theme means it must be dreamy. I will look for something similar where I live (Netherlands).
We are lucky to have a Korean 'hotdog' place in our mall: Cruncheese. So much fun and goodness to go get those yum on a stick. The rice cake sweet one is amazing. Though my favorite is the potato dog
The rice cakes for tteokbokki freeze surprisingly well. I had a bag in the freezer for 4 months and could hardly tell the difference from a bag I bought 'fresh'.
Those cheese balls looks like brazilian "pão de queijo" fried. You can get a recipe online, is made from fermented cassava starch (polvilho azedo), eggs, oil and hard "dry" cheese(s). (Some recipes uses common starch, others fermented, and others a mix of the 2) They are normally baked, but you can fry the dough and you will get about the same texture. Just need to partially freeze before frying.
You had a way better experience with those fish corndogs than I did. I bought the potato ones and that fish sausage was awful. The pink dye bled into the cheese and it was a sad time. Luckily, they had ones on sticks that are only the cheese that are so much better. I got mine at the Good Fortune Market in Providence :)
We have a snackbar near the H-Mart closest to me that sells these! They have the cheese, 1/2 & 1/2 and they have multiple sausage types - traditional hot dogs, Korean sausages and beef versions of both. I've found, if I'm going to have the cheese dog, I prefer it with the plain coating and I prefer the Korean sausage with the potato coating. I'm so in love with these & I'm so glad you reviewed the frozen ones because I have been hesitant to buy them because of being the fish dogs. I don't handle spicy food very well, but I absolutely LOVE the ricecakes. I found a great recipe on Future Neighbor's channel for a bulgogi style tteobokki and I make that instead.
Oh wow those corn dog things look so so good! 😍 you're awesome! I love the "ooh yep" and the music. Superb. I read to the end : why is fried food so good
There's a place in the local shopping centre which sells the corn dog type one - cheese and/or sausage ... and, yes, dusted with white sugar. She brought some home recently. They were SO good.
We have a Korean hotdog stand at our mall called Mr. Cow. I just bought one since they're pricey for just one dog. I had the half mozzerella, half hotdog covered with the fries. I tried it with the sweet chili dipping sauce. It was ok. Then I covered it with ketchup and mustard. I loved it that way better. Too bad they use the skinny hotdogs instead of the jumbo size. I think it would be better especially with all that breading and potato on it. But I'm going again and ask for it to be extra crispy!
My family & I made close to 200 tamales. Beef, cheese w/ rajas & sweet 🍍. For no particular reason other it's raining here in Cali...lol so the weather is perfect for tamales and here I am graving all these frozen corn dogs🙆😭
