The lyrics are amazing, still love him after all these years. An amazing lyricist and musician. George's voice lends itself well to this song, Nobody has a voice like George...two very different renditions so cannot be compared. Both excellent in my opinion.

But as the years pass you realise that she taught you more than what you thought you taught her. And you still miss her terribly.

I heard this song many years ago and loved it instantly. Kind of like meeting someone you instantly fall in love with. I haven't listened to it much, and I have to this day never seen the music video. Loved it. They should make a movie like this, and have Terence Trent D'arby sing it again for it. Mr. D'arby has a few really great songs that aren't well known, and the other one I recommend listening to is "Frankie and Johnny" - from the movie with the same name. "Let Her Down Easy" is still my favorite song though...
