This was by far the most straight forward tuturial on how to eliminate Mic Bumps! I have been audio editing for a couple of months and this has been extremely helpful for cleaning up the mic bumps on podcast! Thanks for saving me some time and making spectral view less daunting!
I'm dealing with editing some interview audio with lots of little mic bumps from interviewee handling the mic. The heal tool on those low frequencies is doing the trick. Thanks so much!
Great voiceover, great straight-forward instruction and examples, and all around FANTASTIC demonstration. You've taught me a ton in 7 short minutes. Thanks!
Mind blowing. I was editing an interview and trying to piece together multiple takes to one because he hits the mic while he's doing his closing in every take, so I'm very limited on what I could do. This trick would really help me scrub his audio. Thanks!
This was very informational. Of course, you you have to find your own bump waves in different audio scenarios, but it put me on the right track as a total beginner. Thanks.
As you mentioned in the above video regarding how to do this on other DAW's such as audacity, is there a link or a video you have on this. You mentioned the Sound Advice Tour.
this was very helpful. since that 'bump' sound is pretty much the same each time, can Audition be taught to identify that sound and hunt them down? I have a clip with lots of 'bump's where the talent kept whacking the mic
this was one of the worst how to videos. how do you even get to the waveform being full screen? why is he using hot keys? this video has frustrated me and I've gotten nothing out of it.
Four years later and you're still saving the day with this tutorial! You're appreciated!!!
