Thank you, Mal. Wonderful hearing from you again! I learned through Steve’s stream you have all the FTD releases! What a great flip through video that would be. Some great career stories, too 😊 I don’t believe you’re doing videos, but would love to see some with plenty to chat about. Cheers!
Those are really cool. I only have three or four Elvis records and I only have one MoFi in my collection (from Sinatra). Elvis is Black. What a title! I get it, but I'm amazed it was used.
Hello there Jeff. Wow. That was a lot of fun. That copy of G.I. Blues is really nice. Did they release one of these for my all time favorite Elvis album 'Elvis Is Back'? Such A Night. One heck of a song. Thank you for sharing them. Love the sealed to reveal videos. Buts its even better when there are four seals and not just one~ Rob/Boston
Hey Rob. Good question about a VPI reissue about Elvis is Back! I’ll have to seek it out. Hope you’re having a great spring. Always great hearing from you. Cheers!
Hi Jeff! 😁👋 Great and awesome 4 releases you have there my friend. I have all but one of VPI Cafe Europa. Just did as well on some of reveals on my new additions including that 3 set Elvis is Black! I totally agree as well on the title. But like you have said, basically Elvis’s early recordings and how it influenced him and as well the music. Great stuff and can’t wait for your next video! Cheers! TCB ⚡️😎🙌☝️
Wow, just stumbled upon this video and it’s freaking awesome. Love those Elvis releases, though I had a chance to buy the Boulevard album, I passed on it. I think I just changed my mind. Ha Great video, my friend please more Elvis content. Thanks.😊
Wow. That is a lot of great Elvis vinyl . Thanks for showing. Who would have ever thought we'd be seeing EP coloured vinyl. For the FTD records do you have to order them as imports?
Hey pal! No kidding with coloured vinyl. I do order the FTDs but you have to be careful as some seem to draw duty charges: Graceland store, for example. Acoustic Sounds, too, btw. I have 6 or 7 now but only newer releases now moving forward. Copies are limited and many going for crazy money. Cheers!
Back again....that Elvis Is Black set is amazing! And the photo book...sigh... A quick look at the list of songs showed that they are basically reissues of some of his earliest albums, and I just cannot justify buying them all over again for the novelty of coloured vinyl and a beautiful book😮
@@Speekers_corner Guess I am just an average fan, LOL! Although most of my friends think I am obsessed. Been a fan since I was 12 in 1960, was married to the president of our local fan club, and went to the US with him to see Elvis in concert in 1976. Yep, just an every day fan😁😁
Gosh that is an interesting cover for the G I Blues album! I am with you on the eoundtrack - it is my favourite along with King Creole. And Loving You.❤.
Hi Randy. The only other VPI release I had was a reissue of It Happenened at the World’s Fair with the title: Blondes, Brunes at Rosses. Great sounding records and they have some cool colour variations. Enjoy your week.
Hi stranger... I've known quite a few Elvis fans over the years. Some of them even as dingy as some of those whacko Beatles fans. My Sister is a huge fan of the man. She plays a double shot of Elvis around noon every time she's on the air on her radio program down east. I'm an early Elvis fan, after he came back from the Army he only had a couple of tunes I liked. He got way to much into that movie mishmash music the Colonel got him caught up in. Colonel Parker got 50 percent of Elvis I heard. Is that true Jeff.
Hey pal. Ya, I’ve heard Parker got 50% too. One of music’s great tragedies was he never toured outside of the US (except for 3 shows in Canada in ‘57) as Parker feared his ability to re-enter the US. How the fishing is heating up for you! Cheers
You have to pay UA-cam to have an ad free channel. I put up with the ads because I figure we are getting a good deal being able to even do this for no charge😊
Hi my friend, it’s great to c u again, and looking well, some nice pickups there as well, thanks for sharing, cheers mate!

The set has several master takes, but is mostly comprised of alternate takes. Not a recommendation for the average fan.

King Creole and Blue Hawaii would probably round off my top 3 soundtrack. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
cool
Nice albums, I like the Cafe Euorpa album
Thanks. Yes, nice to have in the collection. Cheers
Looks like some interesting Elvis releases. I have a lot of Elvis records but not many of his soundtracks. I was not familiar with the VPI label.
