I really, really hope you can help me. I am having the opposite problem. I walked outside this morning and had water flooded in my backyard. I've already turned off the main water supply and that stopped it. I watched other videos and it said I should turn off my sprinkler system. It's been turned off for years. I opened the irrigation system and am not seeing any valves to turn off, just wires. What do I do? Signed, single mom freaking the f*ck out. Thank you
If you leave them at a 45 it won’t trap any water at the ball on the valve. If they’re left fully closed it will expand and crack the ball valve potentially.
My irrigation company is behind schedule and my lawn is yellow. Thank you so much for such a detailed and helpful video. And thanks for helping me green up the lawn! Great video!!
@@outbacklandscape6340 Changed all valve diaphragms (new from HomeDepot) and solenoids (new from HomeDepot and all in closed position) Tried switching wires from back and front lawn zones at controller and results as follows: 1. Front lawn zone works perfect, no leak at pressure vacuum breaker and starts quick 2. Back lawn zone starts late and pressure vacuum breaker leaks during spray (even after changing wires at controller) After getting information as amateur, there is leak in back yard and i have changed two heads which originally did not come out and spray was minimal. Despite that back lawn still starts late and vacuum breaker still leaks during duration of spray. Maximum duration i manually set for 20 minutes for back lawn, still the same (starts late and vacuum breaker still leaks). You being professional have knowledge and would you please help me in fixing back lawn zone.
Like your music. Thanks for the tips.
Thank you!

Did this myself recently. My beard wasn't nearly as cool when I did it, though.
This is about Sprinckler not his fin beard
The only thing I don't understand is why are the cornhole boards left out while the sprinklers are running?
Why are the valves left af 45 degrees instead of fully on?

What if I don’t have the shutoff valves in the basement or the pvb?
Great video very helpful 👍
Thank you!
