Great analysis. I’m worried about whether McKenzie Long makes it, because it is often a waste of space to have a collegiate run a late championship after a great collegiate year, as their performances tend to decline for the year. However, I LOVE her talent and think she’s gonna be a huge factor in the years to come, because she has that “it” factor of her racing pattern where she is always in the race, even if behind. Also, interesting what you stated about Aleia possibly upsetting ShaCarri in the trials. Honestly, I keep putting Aleia on the team and feel she’s ready to go 10.7 this year. That 10.83 in cold weather tells me ShaCarri is ready to go 10.7 right now, still. However, if Aleia beats ShaCarri in the trials, it will have told me her peaking situation is CRAZY, and she will be lightening fast in Paris. That would actually be a great strategy from Dennis…allow her the training to give her a proper peak by merely “making the team”, then end up in crazy fast form for Paris. I like that Noah tends to get a proper peak leading to championships, as well as the way Elaine did this in 2021; she didn’t look that great, then owned the end of 2021! We shall see how they decide to do it!

Is she more of a 200m person maybe the side arm swing is from running the curve in the 200?

No its her natural running form which should have been corrected when she first started sprinting as a child, but unfortunately 😕 not many coaches understands the proper art of fine tuning mechan- ical sprinting with all angles beening corrected & programed for all body parts to be focused to go forward working as 1 unit,🤷 that twisting technique is absolu- tely horrible for anyone who does in "Dear😢Abby's" situation it will prove very sadly for her running 🏃‍♀️ career, it's the very same reason why the kid "Matthew" isn't able to go further, his mechanics are just not up to snuff unfortunately for him, he needs to find a coach that understands what I'm writing about, my advice is the coach at "UCLA" the great "John Smith" he understands the principles of the science also so does "Bobby K who now coaches "Sidney" the other coaches are over in Jamaica "Coach Mills" & "Coach Francis", now another coach I have been considering is "Sha-Sha's" coach "Dennis Mitchell", who I had my doubts about for a while now, but when "Sha-Sha" came through last year with that big win out of lane 9 he convinced me that he was pretty good although I still see 👀 wholes in "Sha-Sha's" Mechanics some what, but I also realize that not many coaches truly under- stands the depth of angel mech- anics sprinting though & through, most who have been in the sport are still learning the art 🎨 of putting a sprinting 🏃‍♂️ together into a complete whole, it's not easy, there are many obstacles to over- come to getting a student there mentally as well as physically 👌🏻!!! Amen 🙏!!!

Lol there are so many great coaches out there helping athletes improve year over year. And Abby Steiner is a world champion and ran the fastest collegiate 200m of all time. So instead of bashing her technique I would recommend learning from it and what is effective in it..
