Yes, a 9 volt battery should be fine for either mode but I would assume that if the internal switch is set to 18 volts, then it will go through a battery faster than if the internal switch is set to 9 volts.
Nice demo thanks. I just got the od glove and am now wondering what I can pair with it. Have you tried a soul food or anything else with the od glove? I have the Keeley super phat mod but it’s very similar to the od glove. I actually like the glove better than the super phat mod so I’m probably going to sell the Keeley pedal and find something that works well with the glove. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Sir. I’ve not tried to pair it with the Soul Food but currently, I tend to pair mine with an Ibanez TS9 or a Snake Oil “The Very Thing”.

Yes, that is correct. You should only use a 9v power supply with this pedal, the 18 volt is accomplished internally to the pedal.

I have one and it is indeed better than many much more expensive pedals. I like it the best, so I've got $700 in OD pedals sitting on a shelf now.
