- The Supreme Court on Monday directed the State Bank of India (SBI) to disclose all the details of the electoral bonds in its possession, which includes the unique alphanumeric number and the serial number of the bonds redeemed. The top court has directed the SBI Chairman to file an affidavit by 5 pm on Thursday, showing that the SBI has revealed all the required details of Electoral Bonds which were in its possession and has not withheld any details.

The Supreme Court should issue a verdict with a minimum sentence of five to ten years in prison

For a minute reflect on the purpose of E Bonds. Were they not meant to curb/Stop use of black money in elections? Any lacunae could have been removed or rectified well before the elections at 11th hour, why all these delays?
