- Supreme Court Warns SBI Of Contempt In Electoral Bonds Case, Sets March 12 Deadline| CJI Chandrachud
The Supreme Court (SC) dismissed SBI’s request for an extension to disclose electoral bond data and mandate submission by tomorrow. Additionally, the SC directed the ECI to publish the information provided to the Court as per the interim order on its website. The ECI is instructed to compile and publish this data on its official website by 5 PM on March 15, 2024.
Here's what transpired in the Supreme Court where CJI Chandrachud-led bench grilled Harish Salve, who was appearing on behalf of SBI.

How dumb can one be? Are Naam to kal reveal ho sakte hai par kisne kisko Diya vo Match karne ke liye samay chahiye kyoki Bond ke upar kisi ka naam nahi hota.. Sirf kisne kitna Kharida aur Kisne kitna encash Kiya vo pata lag sakta hai par Kiska Bond kisko Gaya ye pata lagne ke liye Matching karne me 2-3 mahine lagenge. Jo supreme court kaheti hai ke Hume pardarshita Lani hai vo khud hi jyada confusion paida kar Rahi hai. Are jab tak kiska fund kisko Gaya vo pata chal nahi jata usse pahele bond kharidne valo ke naam reveal karke kya fayda.. isse to upar se hungama badhega har party ek dusre pe juthhe aarop lagayegi. Jab tak ye match nahi hota hai kiska bond kisne encash Kiya tab tak pardarshita kaise aayegi? SC ke Judges bhi bike hue hai unhe pata hai ke Agar Modi govt aayi to Collegium system chala jayega aur Judges ke Bete judges nahi ban payenge.

If not,
2) is SBI personnel committing an offence by trying to slow down / cover up the process of revealing them?
If yes, act against them.
3) Is Harish Dalvi purposely delaying the process of revealing data that is against the constitution of India?
If yes, hold him responsible as an accomplice.

What the heel were these people doing when electoral bonds were introduced with such absurd restrictions. No information was maintained or disclosed. Now all of a sudden somebody wakes up and asks you to do something else. Government should Stop relying on Nationalised Banks for every dam thing. Either let banks run autonomously and ask your departments to do government work or close banks down. Rather privatise them and government can shut out.

So, they are going to reveal the names of the donors (alongwith sums donated) but without telling to which party specifically it was donated!!! Am i missing something here?
Seems so.. Bank was asking time to do the matching of who donated how much to which party. Now SC is telling not to do that matching. Just disclose who donated how much.
