Just finished watching the movie a few minutes and the Atmos track is awesome. Shane I think this is a great Blu-ray of the year contender. Like you said it may not have the thunderous Godzilla bass but the sound effects are superb. Perfect review as always.
I just watched the Netflix stream and my SB4000s did a superb job. I enjoyed it so much I going to purchase a 4k copy this Black Friday sale. Keep up the great reviews.

Hoping for iMAX scenes on the 3D disc but really looking forward to those stunning sequences from Mysterio in 3D! The IMAX movie looked great and Home Coming had great 3D so hoping for another good disc here.

Going to watch this tonight via my Roku Ultra in 4k. I have a 5.2.2 setup, hopefully I will not have any volume issues. Not sure about Spiderman down the road with no MCU ties. Thanks for another great review Shane!
I preordered the first thru Vudu and on my Roku TV the Dolby vision is broken. It’s super dark and washed out. On my Xbox with HDR on its fine and it’s a night and day difference compared to the physical disk. DVision is fantastic on the UHD bluray
I love physical but also want the iTunes simpleness, but the whole not owning is so off putting, but still want it lol, as for the price 13.99 for itunes or 24.99 for physical, bugs me take the normal blu-ray out of the 4k and lower it down to 20

Far from home was meh, Homecoming was a fair bit better. I’m glad this is better quality than the usual Disney fare. As for future spidey movies it could go either way. Amy Pascal and Avi Arad are idiots and Into the Spiderverse was good in spite of them instead of because of them. And at least they won’t be held back by the usual Disney mcu punch pulling. We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime I’m glad someone stood up to Disney’s near monopoly for once.
If the Venom sequel bombs next October don’t be surprised if we see Sony and Disney going back to the table. I’m looking forward to finally having far from home in my collection by the end of the year. I will end this comment by saying this if you really want Spider-Man back in the MCU vote with your Wallet and don’t go and see the Venom sequel or any live action Spider-Man movie that isn’t attached to Marvel Studios
Day 1 pickup for sure, ofcourse the physical disc :)
