This video does not have enough views, by far one of the best tutorials for solving a first 3x3 cube. Thank you for explaining your method thoroughly :)
I will now follow you cubehead is a good UA-camr and it took me 5 days to do his method but it took me about 25 minutes to solve it doing this way, thank you, im not saying cubehead is bad, but you deserve more subscribers because this is super awesome!
Thank you so much! i watched this video 2 times and unbelievably, i was finally able to solve it in under 3 minutes! i shared this video to my friends and i am respectfully requesting for a video where you can be able to solve a rubiks cube in under 30 seconds? it’s really difficult since no other youtube videos worked for me but this video personally did effectively! I feel like you can help many other people know and learn to master how to solve a rubiks cube in 30 seconds or less because of your comprehensible video.
Thank you! Very glad to help :) I actually have a video on tips to become sub 1 minute. These are kind of the basics for sub 30 seconds, so I think it’s a good place to start At the end I also give an introduction to F2L, an intermediate method for the middle layer that is great to start learning for the long run ‘4 Look Last Layer’ is also a great method for the last layer to become sub 30, I don’t have a video on it but there’s lots of videos out there My vid: ua-cam.com/video/0XMnTKTELBs/v-deo.htmlsi=JGdFhXmxp89KBKuO
@@ScoochCubing The video quite helped me, my average became 1:30 seconds and i aim to do it under a minute, but the thing is other youtubers just don’t really help because their explanations aren’t clear so i couldn’t understand oll and pll. or maybe i have to buy another cube, or study the mechanics. Btw, which cube you’d recommend to buy? Again, thanks for the great video.
Hey sorry I just saw this. So yeah step 7 takes a bit of getting used to. After solving the yellow edges, you look at the yellow corners and see which ones are in their correct spot. ‘Correct spot’ doesn’t specifically mean the corner is completely solved (although it could be), but it usually means it’s in the right spot but twisted. For example, if the corner with yellow, red and blue is between the yellow, red and blue sides, that means it’s in the correct spot. You hold the cube so that the corner in the correct spot is on your right, then do the algorithm (once or twice, it depends) until the rest of the corners are in the correct spot. If you get to the step and there are no correct corners, do the algorithm from anywhere and that would make one of the corners be correct. And you can carry on normally
@@orangestripes_yt124 Something a lot of people mess up is forgetting to do the last move of the algorithm (top anticlockwise) when a corner gets solved, maybe that's the problem?
When you have the edge (any edge that doesn’t have yellow on it) on the top layer, you match the side colour to its centre. So the first example I show at 5:57, the colour on the edge facing out is orange, so you move the top layer until it connects to the orange centre. Then, you look at the top colour of the edge (which is green in that case), and then you do the algorithm I showed. The first move will always be moving the edge away from where it needs to go (away from green side in that example)
i need help when he gets to the middle layer part i get confused i need a tutorial because i get confused on where it needs to go left or right and also confused on the last part with yellow i watched the whole video and when i do the algorithm it just goes back to the same
@@st4rry_the_star to see if the edge piece goes left or right, you find the edge piece on the top layer and match its side colour to the centre Then, look at the top colour of the edge piece. See if that matches the centre piece on the left side or the right side. Then you turn it away from that side and so on
@@st4rry_the_star for step 7, maybe try think of it as looking for a ‘twisted’ corner. So a corner that would be solved if you were to just twist it in its place. For example at 10:18 the yellow-green-orange corner is twisted. Then you hold that on the top right and do the algorithm Sometimes there’s no twisted corner, so you just do the algorithm from anywhere and you will then have a twisted corner
@Ervin the cuber btw, I only said rubix because it's a joke. In scooch's discord server, he was asking "do you guys know what my next video is" or something along those lines. I said "oh its probably going to be about rubix cubes" as a joke. That is the reason why I commented "I knew it was going to be a rubix cube video".
As a 9yr old im confused at the 8th step because my middle layer move after doing the algorithm and also after my yellow is complete my white is not solve.can u pls make video explaining the 8th step for me thank u :)
The middle layer messing up is normal, it should fix itself when you’re done solving the corners. I think the most common mistake is just doing the algorithm as ‘R U R’ and forgetting the last U to the right. You need to do that move even just after you solve the yellow corner. If you forget that last move anywhere in the step then it would mess the cube up
I dont understand the point of step 1. Wouldnt it be easier to just do the white-side cross right away instead of making it on the yellow face and then moving it. I get that it would make it easier to find the other edge color to match it with the centers, but the cross isn't difficult enough to need step 1.
Yeah you’re kind of right, out of all the steps the first step is the easiest to skip. But the point of this video was to give the absolute easiest way to solve the cube. For a beginner, doing white cross straight away is harder than doing a daisy first. But I see where you’re coming from :)
The aforementioned video was immensely beneficial in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to solve a Rubik's Cube. The meticulously detailed, step-by-step instructions, coupled with the lucid visual aids, facilitated an effortless comprehension of the process. The beginner's method served as an excellent foundation, and I express my gratitude for the creator's meticulous breakdown of each algorithm. I extend my sincere appreciation for sharing this remarkable tutorial.
If you do the first two layers together (F2L, top corners and middle edges at the same time) you can do it entirely intuitively. It'll take you a while probably, but you don't need to memorize or look up algorithms to do it.
@@Do-doom you have one corner unsolved on the whole cube? That means you have a ‘corner twist’, which makes the cube impossible to solve. So you have to physically twist the corner to make the cube solvable again
